Order 135i Conv.; 7 sp dual clutch transmission by jkgreer2 on Sun Oct 10 13:50:52 PDT 2010

Sports Car enthusiasts: Have a 135i Convertible on order, M sport pkg & 7 speed dual clutch transmission. The 7 speed dual clutch is really smooth and a Hoot to drive. If test driving Manuals, try a 7 speead dual clutch with Paddle shifters like in Formula 1 cars (I think). Anyone know about how long for delivery after 'Check My BMW' designates a car as "Scheduled for Delivery"? If in South and shopping for a BMW, try Century BMW, Huntsville, AL 35816. They worked with me right before Oct.01 price increase. If interested, they also have 4-5 335 diesals on order (a very fine vehicle). Now must decide whether to keep Run Flats for 15 k miles or switch out at delivery.

Re: 525i lease question [tony525i] by jpk37 on Fri Dec 09 07:42:03 PST 2005

I leased the same car for 36 months 15k per year from Century BMW in Huntsville, AL. The MSRP was 47220 and the dealer discounted it to 44220 with $300 doc fee. My money factor was .0018 with no security deposit. The monthly payment is 599 plus tax. I could have saved a few dollars per month in Atlanta but it was not worth the drive. Hope this helps.

Re: Warranty.. [kyfdx] by bmw3434 on Sat Oct 29 11:20:30 PDT 2005

kyfdx, You are certainly one of the most informed people here, so maybe I'm misunderstanding you when I say this. If we have a car with 535 miles on it and it's still new ... somebody buys it ... then their warranty will go out to 4 years and 50,535 miles. It sounds like you're saying it's 50K miles no matter what. Sure, on the vehicle history reports, it will say 50k, 55k or 100k. But, if you look at service records and internal record (paperwork from the deal) it will say the exact mileage it goes out to. That said, it is my understanding we have several thousand $$$ to use toward "good will" should something occur shortly after the warranty is up. If it is like you say (50K and that's it), and something were to happen in that 500 miles or so, I would hopefully assume we would take care of it as if it were still under warranty. I may be totally offbase, but again, it is my understanding that the 50k miles begins at whatever the mileage was when the customer bought it. Thanks!

Re: Is this a good price for an 02 325i? [ddas] by bmw3434 on Mon Jul 11 16:51:27 PDT 2005

Well, I believe the armrest came in the premium package in 2002. Sounds like a base car in form, are you sure it's a premium package? And, as far as the gap goes, it's supposed to be like that. Did you notice there's no battery under the hood? It's basically the space left over from where the battery would be. The battery is in the trunk.
