Re: 2006 Audi A6 purchase/lease [lyndonw]

Check out some of the earlier posts. 2006 A6s have been selling brand new for $6000 under invoice. I bought a 4.2 A6 for about $10k below MSRP and they were offering the same deal on the 3.2s. This was Audi of Alexandria in VA. You may want to shop around more, unless this is all that's left and you're hooked. By the way, I have about 2000 miles on mine and it's been flawless.

I've been reading this forum for a while now, it's been very helpful and I'd like to add my experience. I just picked up an '06 4.2 from Audi of Alexandria in VA, with tech and cold weather packages, 18" wheels, and heated steering wheel. I called them and over the phone they said $5000 off invoice. In the store, it was $6000 off and they threw in valet service. They weren't going to combine that with the low financing. In contrast, Tyson's Audi had a similar car with 4700 miles that they were asking about the same price for (mine had 78 when I test drove it). By the way, the '06s have maintenance for 4 years, while the '07s have 1 year. If you want the 4 years on an '07, it's $550.

Residuals on the A6
by cstabile on Wed Jan 18 00:08:43 PST 2006
Hello, I am looking for the residuals and money factors for a 2006 A6 3.2 Quattro for 36/39/48 month terms with 12k and 15k per year. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Chris

I ended up getting mine off the lot, but in talking with my dealer, he said that their ordered vehicles were coming in much more quickly than expected, which is why I was surprised to see your post. It could be that your dealer is just being overly conservative on delivery, but I would definitely shop around to other dealers and see what else is out there.

Was this one of the initial demo cars that would by now have fairly high milleage? If not, that's an incredible deal!
