Hi I am here in Dallas I've owned and lease 20 mercedes, 4 BMW and 2 Porsche I test drove the Q7 the other day and like it better than Mercedes R350 FYI - Boardwalk Audi in Plano have $5000 discount on most if not all of their 08 Q7. I am still working on a deal with them I am looking at a car with sticker of $53000 minus $5000 discount Tax her ein TX is 6.25% and you have to pay for the entire cost - not just the lease portion. The net cost of this car is $47000 Trade in $23000 Taxable $47000 - $23000 = $24000 or $1500 ($41.66 per month for 36 months) my calucation is $613 plus tax (.0006 money factor) They quoted $750

It is NICE! I have to say it is a sweet ride. I really am not too into fast cars and all that stuff but boy this one gives me the chill. They only have 1 in their dealer. They said that not all dealers have this car either. They didn't really spend too much time telling us about the car cuz they know it's not available I guess. Pretty much just gave us the key and let us drove it out the lot. The sales also mentioned that these cars are selling about 90K Euro in Europe and so Audi really prefer selling it over there than over here cuz they get more money for the same car. I went to Audi Europe and UK website and they are indeed higher prices then the US. Also she said the Europeans mostly want the manual one so if you order the automatic one it will be faster. It is a nice car but I probably will just go with my second choice. I need to keep reminding myself it's just a way to get me between work and home...

My 2 cents: if busting out a few thousand to fix an issue is a big problem, then I'd stay away from an Audi out of warranty. I absolutely love my car but wouldn't trust it to not have some issue at that high mileage that would be costly to repair. FWIW, no one will warranty a car over 100K that I know of. If you do choose to buy it, 1st take it to a local independent German mechanic and have them give it a thorough once over. It will be worth the small cost to have it done. Good luck.

Sounds like a mighty good deal to me... Congratulations, enjoy the car!
