Re: Lease Price Help [corvette]

Audi's new 2.0T turbo is far superior to many V6's. With gas over $4 gallon, the 2.0 T gives you all the power you need, and it's quite thrifty on gas. With 258lb ft of torque, it's faster than a 328xi, is 250 lexus, or base MB V6. Most of those 6's don't have almost 260lb ft of torque. You need to drive the new 2.0T and you'll be amazed at how quick it is. I have a 2008 A6 4.2 with 350 hp. I'm quite impressed with the new 09 2.0T, and it'll probably be my next car if I need to scale down a bit when my lease is up.
Storage compartment in the front seats of A3
by sonyvaio on Fri Aug 31 14:52:03 PDT 2007
From the manual of A3, it seems that there are two storage compartments in both front seats. But I only found one in the passenger seat of my A3, while no one in the driver seat. I am not sure if it is because my car has premimum package which includes power driver seat. Can anyone confirm with it? How many storage compartments in the front seats are in your A3? Thanks a lot!
Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [dorkbrand]
by hairclip1012 on Thu Jun 05 05:36:51 PDT 2008
I have the white and love it. I have 2 small rock chips that show up as black. The silver would be easier to keep clean. You must get S-line package. The wheels are amazing. I can't comment on lease payment questions. I would push hard for at or slightly below invoice. The dealers are really hurting. BTW, I have 1K mles now and have been averaging about 14mpg. This thing is fun to drive. At times I wish I had the TTRS. The 3.2 is fun but I'd like a bit more power at full throttle.

Any experience with your S5. its v8 twin turbo correct? No, as stated in previous post, it is naturally aspirated V8 How smooth is the car quite enough in highway speeds.? Very Smooth and plenty of 6th gear passing power too. How comfortable is it.? I am 6'2" 255lbs. The narrow seats fit snuggly but comfortably. This was a real concern of mine, but I have taken a couple of several hundred mile trips and been very comfortable. Hows the handling the road feel. Stiff but compliant. Wisconsin potholes are a bit jarring, but no more than in my last car (A6 4.2). The good and bad things you like about your car. I wish the voice command was active. In my prior audi, I could do everything with with it. Change CD's, radio stations, dial phone numbers and names and control the nav system. It would be nice just to have the phone functions back. Love everything else though. How comfortable are the seats. See above How is the transmission. Love it. 1st to 2nd is the only transition that i am trying to get just right in non-spirited driving. Anything else you want to add etc etc. Are those twin turbo too loud I always have a feeling TT are really not that smooth. Engine sound is fantastic. The car I got, out of dealer inventory doea not have the Bang & Olafson(sp) sound which has turned out just fine as I love the sound of the engine. I also have a BMW 335xi sedan which is twin turbo charged. The power delivery in the S5 is extremely smooth and linear. There is no big power bumps.

Wow, that's great. Congrats on your new '08 A3. Did you direct factory order? (As there aren't any '08 A3s on the showroom floors yet where I am from). How long did you have to wait for your order to arrive? You mentioned power driver seat is part of the S-Line page for the '08s any other new changes like that that you can share?
A4 Leases
by rich50 on Thu May 15 20:06:22 PDT 2008
rjlaero, Really I wasn't trying to compare manufacturer or models as Audi builds a whole different class of car than Hummer's SUV's (only similarity is gas mileage- H3 gets 16mpg in city, my Quattro gets 18). This is a really good lease program however I'm curious as to how these factory backed deals affect the spread between invoice and msrp. I'm not worried about saving every last penny but if there is$500 or $1,000 savings possible I'll take it. theRoOkie, The factory backed program for an A4 SE with msrp of $31825 is a true zero down and $399 month plus tax but only includes 10k miles a year. I think you'll need the residuals and money factors to calculate the rate for 15k miles a year- yep those numbers they don't want to share. A lot of people on here advise against dealing with someone who won't share the residuals and mf's. We had a TL before leasing the A4 Quattro and your comparing apples and oranges. The TL has a lot of power, drives nice, and is comfortable, while the Audi is sportier, Audi interior finishing is tops, and it has that awesome Audi handling/feel to it. This is not meant as a knock to the TL in any way we really liked ours, I'm just pointing out they are very different cars. Rich
