I have owned cars from BMW, Audi, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, etc over the years. The longest relationship that I have (and still have) is with the Lexus. In many way, a good relationship is how you position yourself and market yourself the right way. I don't think that I paid more by buying lexus, but I do think that I have spend more with Lexus service department. Not because the Lexus had more trouble than other brand (in fact it is the other way around), but I was better treated as a true customer when I went there everytime. If a dealer thinks the only way to be profitable is to have salemen ask for more money from customer, then it won't last long in business....... I am not the one that necessary walk into the dealer is to "bleed" dealer to death. It is an competitive market and it is all about to be ab educated customer and getting a fair deal during the process. Here is another example, I have two Audi dealers in the area, when I presented myself with same purchase for a specific configured Audi A6, I was quoted nearly $2000 in difference. The one who quted less has better service department, better environement in general, and most important with better customer attention through out process. Guess who got my order.

If you get additional packages added on you might swing for $1,250 or so off MSRP but some dealers are offering $0 off because of Audi's sweet financing deal, so decide for yourself how hard to push the dealer.

Leased A4 2.0T Sedan: by casanova2 on Fri Dec 09 12:26:44 PST 2005; I just finalized a deal on a white Audi A4 2.0T here in Cleveland, OH (Fred Baker Audi), with sunroof + premium + technology packages. Deal is $425/mo inclusive of taxes (7% in cuyahoga county) on MSRP of $36,665. MF was 0.00139 with $2,125 in MSD (5 x $425/mo) that dropped my MF to 0.00099 (2.4% interest rate). Pick up is around Xmas time. Can't wait, it's been snowing like a mother here and the quattro will arrive just in time.

Cleveland area experiences: by cyberpmg on Mon Oct 22 08:06:53 PDT 2001; I've found the best experience at Fred Baker Audi. Extremely friendly and helpful sales staff. What really won me over was their service area. It's one of the largest service areas I've seen, but also one of the cleanest. I've seen the service area in action when I took my boss's A6 in for routine maintenance. There is a lot of care taken in the vehicles and the equipment used on the vehicles. They were able to offer me a good deal on a 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro - around $1700 over invoice. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow! I've spent time looking at a couple of other dealers in the area, and none of them compare to Fred Baker. They've also won numerous awards for sales and service.
