Re: New 2009 A5 lease rates? [Car_man]
by jwiz1 on Sun Jan 18 07:51:37 PST 2009
The same ad is running this weekend again. It is at McGrath Audi in Glenview, IL. The ad also is on their web site under "New Vehicle Specals". It says that the purchase incentive interest rates are through Audi Financial Services, but does not specifically mention where the leases are financed (though it is all in the same footnote). Regarding the money factors.......I was quoted a money factor for a 39 month lease that is the equililent of an APR of a little over 8.1% (top tier credit) while they are offering 3.9% APR on purchases of the A5. I can get 4.75% for 60 months from my credit union. Strange that the difference is so big. High money factor, mediocre residual (51%), and an open ended lease (at least at this dealer).....not very attractive lease terms when compared to the competition.

I am buying an A4 in Chicagoland. My suburb is Tinley Park, IL but I'll go anywhere for good pricing. Want to join forces and buy together to leverage our discount power? I test drove tonight and I am looking to buy within a week. Any advice on pricing? I'm looking for an 2004 A4 Quattro/Manual 4-Speed/Sport Package/No-Nav
A4 2.0 Quattro Premium Plus w/ Navigation

Hi - I am new to the board and had a question to ask everybody. I have a standing offer with a dealer here in Chicago, IL for a new Audi A4 2.0 Quattro with Premium Plus and Navigation. The offer is to buy at 2.9% financing. Dealer offer is: $37,990 Dealer Invoice: $37,604 I want to negotiate closer to the TMV price of $36,114, do you think this is possible? And do you think the price I received is too much, granted I am looking for an A4 that is black on black with navi and premium plus and this dealership out of the 3 I have gone to was the only one to have the car.
What do you guys think of this deal for the A6?
by crimsontide on Sun Jun 21 20:46:08 PDT 2009
I just noticed my local dealership has something on their web-site that's a little different from what's on the official Audi web-site for the Summer of Audi Event promotion. http://www.auditysonscorner.com/specials-detail-inventory-other-audi-specialdeta- - ils-649.html For those lazy to read through it, it's basically $0 down and $699/month for 36 months. There's pretty much no fine print so I can only assume that it's for the absolute base model of the A6. What do you think. Is it a good deal? Or do you think it's a B&S scam? The reason I say this is because I went to this same dealership a couple years ago and they tried to rip me off by trying to give me a car that was $2000 in MSRP over advertised car I came to see, offered to take my current car as trade-in for a couple thousand, but yet increasing the monthly payment and the down payment substantially. It was a pretty bad experience but whatever, maybe I'll encounter a different salesperson?
