I don't know of a 1.8 T model, only ones listed and that I've seen are 2.0 T for 2008. I'd be looking for a SE quattro if I were you. Also, 1 thing to consider is that this car is a gas guzzler, it drinks gas like water similar to a sports car. I rented this car in January for a week while on vacation and it cost me a bundle but was fun to drive. I'd fight for every dollar when negotiating a lease, you'll need it for the gas. ;)
Re: Can anyone give me a little help? [keng3]

Hi keng3. I am not intimately familiar with what the market is like for the Q7 right now, but given how slow auto sales are right now and the fact that this truck is a gas guzzler at a time when gas prices are at a record high, I personally would shoot for a selling price of around $1,000 over dealer invoice or less and see what happens. Make sure to scroll back through some of the posts here and to stop by the "Audi Q7 Prices Paid and Buying Experience" discussion to see how much other community members have paid for similar trucks lately. I can work up an approximate lease payment on this truck for you to give you a ballpark idea of how much it will cost to lease, but in order to do so I need to know what its MSRP is. Is the $57,975 price that you mentioned in your post the MSRP or the selling price that the dealer is offering? Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Audi Q7 Lease Questions
by jmunroe on Mon Apr 07 13:59:42 PDT 2008
I found this forum in a google search for Audi Q7 lease prices. I've been reading some of the discussions and I have a couple of questions myself. First, what do the terms cap cost, residual, and money factor mean? I'll give a little insight on my situation and hopefully somebody can help me. I currently lease a 2005 Audi A4. My lease is maturing and my turn-in date is anytime from now until 5/7/08. I've already had SGS Automotive complete the inspection process and I'm "good to go". I would like to turn the car in and lease an Audi Q7. I'm undecided if I want to do it now or wait until the fall. I was planning on driving a family vehicle until the fall, pay off some bills and get ahead. But Audi is offering to waive the fees that would normally uphold at signing and I figure it would be around $2500, if not more. The only contingency is that I lease an Audi vehicle within 30 days of my current lease mature date. So if I want to take the deal, I need to do it soon. I have a Q7 that I am looking at. The sticker price is $52,125. Its a 2008 Audi Q7 premium, 3.6L V6. I prefer the V6 over the V8 for gas prices, etc. It is also the color I prefer. I am planning on making an appointment to talk #'s with the dealer but I've been reading other peoples comments and just need some clarification on some things. I've read about the $1000 incentive but that it is not offered in the Northeast area. And the terms cap cost, residual, and money factor are confusing to me which I think is a really bad start!! It sounds like terms I should or need to know before leasing this vehicle. Can anyone help me? And maybe give a "ball-park" figure on what I might be looking at for a lease price...let's say 12,000 miles per year and a 24 or 36 mo. lease. I want to make sure it's in my allowed price range before I even think about going to the next step. Thanks :)

I would wait it out till the very end. whatever works best for you. gas prices are rising, Q7 inventories are rising, not much good news on wall street, so any deal you have in-hand today, will most likely be available in april. have your salesman shoot me an email, just add aol.com to my screen name, I am ready to buy before the end of the month, maybe you can get something for the referral. good luck
Audi 2008 A6 Lease Offer - Need Advice
by minturn on Sat Mar 15 07:00:49 PDT 2008
Here's the deal. I normally purchase, and do not lease. But I have a unique problem. I just brought in my 2002 Audi A6 due to intermitent engine light. Found out I need a completely new engine / rebuild. Cost is insane. I asked if they would be willing to take the car and lease me a new one. Ignoring the insanity of a car dying at 65k miles even after all maintenance done at the dealer, I thought I might be able cut my losses with a lease. Here's what they offered. 2008 A6 3.2 Quattro Includes premium package, cold weather package, ipod integration. msrp $51,315, net Audi loyalty offer of $2000 to get a sales price of $49,315. Lease end value = 50% money factor = .00092 They are offering $2000 for my 2002 A6 which is essentially junk value. This doesn't sound like a great deal. I'd like to get some other opinions. I've copied the offer below. It has the rest of the detail. First Payment Date: 04/13/08 18) Audi Care: $ 590.00 ) Lease Institution: AUDI 19) Cash Cap Reduction: $ 2,000.00 ) M.S.R.P.: $ 51,315.00 20) Total Trade Allow: $ 2,000.00 ) Residualized Equip: Adjusted Cap Cost: $ 47,476.15 ) Mileage Calc: 21) Customer Cash Down: ) L.E.V.%: 50.00% 22) Total Sales Tax: $ 2,067.50 ) Lease-end Value: $ 25,657.50 23) ***MONTHLY PAYMENT***: $ 673.35 ) Term: 36 Base Monthly Rental: $ 673.35 ) Money Factor: 0.00092 24) Security Deposit: 25) License: $ 259.00 ) Selling Price: $ 49,200.00 26) Registration: ) Extended Warranty: 27) Upfront Acq. Leasing 2008 Audi A4 FWD CVT
by jd25 on Wed Feb 06 17:35:24 PST 2008
Hello, I'm planning to lease Leasing 2008 Audi A4 FWD CVT with S-Line sport and Titanium package options. Edmunds show MSRP $33,475, Invoice $31,186 and TMV $32,061 for Los Angeles area. How should I go about negotiating a monthly leasing rate? One way I can think of is using the lease price offered at Audi USA website for 2008 A4 Quatro Automatic with premium package and heated front seat ($359/month + $3,184 down payment with MSRP $34,375) ) and compare the MSRP and the TMV for that model and options, and then ask for a similar discount on the initial down payment for my model. So, I should ask for a total discount of ($34,375-$33,475) + ($33,475-$31,186) or $3,189 for same lease rate of $359/month. Does this leasing plan make sense for negotiation? What are my negotiation options if I want a higher yearly allowance of 12,000 miles instead of standard 10,000 miles? BTW, Am I missing a lot by opting for FWD/CVT instead of Quatro/Automatic (I chose FWD primarily due to its slightly higher gas mileage rating)? Thanks in advance!
