I had a 2 year lease which expired November 2007. I was able to get an extention to be able to get into the new model through November 2008. I am being told by the dealer (Danbury, CT) that I am not eligible for the Loyalty Cash since I got the extention. Has anybody run into this issue? Doesn't sound kosher to me as how does an extention have anything to do with loyalty. A4 owner since December 1995!

Jeff, Thanks for the feedback. I did find the sports suspension option rare here in the northeast. My dealer was able to locate the car with all of the other options I wanted (except the walnut trim). I was very surprised because I haven't seen a single one on the lot with this option in ANY color. There is a big regional lot close to my home with over 60 A4's waiting to be shipped to the local dealers and not one had the sports suspension. I'm paying $700 over invoice and take delivery this Monday. I'm most excited about this $250 option than any of the others. Good luck with your car! Steve

Any feedback on the sports suspension? I have the opportunity to get a car with this option but they don't have any on hand to test drive. Any feedback wouold be appreciated.
Car_Man - Multiple Deposits, Good Idea?

Car_Man, Great info here - thank you very much. I am currently negotiating to lease a 2006 A4 over a 24 month period. I will be financing $32,700 over the 24 month period at the money rate of .00139. Each of the 3 dealers I have visited have offered to lower the money rate to .00067 if I put down a security deposit of $3,600 which is fully refundable at the end of the lease term with no interest paid on the deposited funds (they refer to it as "Multiple Deposits"). The reduction in the money rate lowers my monthly payment by $40 or $960 over the full term of the lease. This seems like an outstanding deal to me since if I were to hold those funds in the best interest bearing account I could find I would not be able to match the 13.3% annual return that I am effectively getting on the deposited funds. Am I missing something here or is it as good as it seems? Thanks for your help! Steve
