READ REVIEW OF TOYOTA SCION OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS DEALERSHIP SALES

My wife and I were signing the paperwork after being approved for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I had to keep asking to see the details of exactly how much we were paying. The salesperson would only give us a "monthly payment" before. The price did not include the $750 cash back incentive that Toyota was offering. I insisted that we get the incentive even though the salesperson kept insisting it wouldn't affect the "payment" and that they couldn't offer it (insinuating we were lying). I supplied a printout from (the dealer's website) that showed the incentive. They said they would have to raise the price $3000 to $19995 since that was the MSRP for the base Tacoma 2WD regular cab. I showed them a printout from their website again that showed the MSRP of $16894 and that they had five in stock. Both salespeople became so verbally abusive that a manager requested a conference with them in a private office! While they were gone, my wife and I agreed we could not stand to be yelled at in such a nasty manner and walked out.
Mis-UnderstandingMy name is Bob Hartman, I am the Customer Relations Manager for Toyota of Northwest Arkansas. I was not able to get anyone to admit they yelled or seen anyone yell at these customers. But I have used this case as a training issue. Apparently this was more of a communication problem than anything else. When the sales people returned to find this customer with everything the customer had asked for, The customers were gone and have not since returned a telephone call. We do care here and will not tolerate employees giving customers a negative impression of the dealership. This could have easily been corrected with a call to me.
