So I feel like a two star is sufficient.. idk maybe not. I bought a 2016 Honda Accord from this facility, they told me everything was perfect, nothing wrong with it, car fax was clean. After less than month, more like two weeks into owning the vehicle, I had a horrible scraping noise in the front driver side tire. They told me to come in, I did, they told me if I cannot duplicate the noise then I’m pretty much out of luck. It took them about 1 1/2 hours to come to this conclusion for some reason. At that point I had to go to work, so I left and decided to bring it back that weekend when I had more time. Brought it back their mechanic put it up in the air, couldn’t find anything but they noticed my break pads weren’t the best and may be the problem. AFTER THEY TOLD ME MY CAR WAS 100% okay nothing wrong with it. They replaced the break pads. (that’s why I’m giving them a 2 star) today I’m cleaning my car and the battery dies, like completely, not turning over AT ALL. I explained hat I can’t have this happen when I’m out and about but still nothing. Mind you I bought my car the first week of May. I called in and spoke with Nate the service manager, he told me that the maintenance is my problem and to pretty much pound sand, not his problem. I asked if there was anything they could do seeing as I haven’t even had my car for two months, he said no and blamed the weather. His attitude was Along the lines of I could care less. I’m sorry but my car should not be having this many problems this early on. This place LIES TO YOU TO GET YOU INTO A CAR!!! My next stop is the BBB. Would not recommend buying a car here unless you want that kind of trickery and thievery. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE WAY NATE HANDLED THE SITUATION. I will not be returning.

Had a problem with my car showing it was a salvage title and it was time to turn in the lease. Jesse took it on and got everything worked out so I could upgrade to a new VW. We had called around to a few places before we stumbled on Jesse B. Usually when I stumble on something it ends badly, but with Jesse it went swimmingly well. We had other dealerships trying to get 2,000 or more above what we could afford. Jesse gave us a no nonesense cost and fought to get it to that point before he even offered us the deal. Of course it helps when you do research ahead of time and know what you are willing to spend, but Jesse made the process simplistic and quick. He is very accommodating. He stayed late just to meet with us and we walked away with a brand new 2014 Jetta. if you need a sales person this is the guy.

On a rainy day, Daniel spent over an hour showing us around and answering all of our questions. We experienced horrible service from the Lexus dealership up the road, but were extremely happy to get help at this dealership. We even met Scott, the manager, who was friendly and helpful as well. While searching for my next new car, I contacted Chapman VW in Scottsdale. The sales person that contacted me back, Jesse B, responded to my questions in less than 5 minutes. He answered all of my questions, provided me with all the information that I needed, and was able to do this with out being pushy and/or rude. Later, when I visited Jesse in person, he was able to not only go over all the information quickly yet again, he also kept his word on the quote I had received from him. On top of everything, when I told him that this wasn't going to be a sale for a few months, he was still kind and took all the time I needed, and didn't just shove off to another customer! In a few months, I will be returning to get the car. And I will only be working with Jesse B because of the kindness and honesty he showed me. Oh, and if your bad with names (like me) he's easily remembered because he is the only sales person there with an awesome piano tie... he even played Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star for me! His cards even call him "The guy in the Piano Tie"! If you are in the market for a car, you have to go to this dealership, and ask for Jesse!

there was some misunderstanding but they do work as a team to solve the problems and make sure customers are satisfied. Joe K is amazing! he went above and beyond to make the transaction as easy as possible, was in and out within an hour or so. they have nice cars for decent price, great customer service all around! Definitely recommended, and don't forget to ask for Joe:)

Went to this dealer with a prenegotiated price from my insurance company. Once on the lot, they tried to inflate the price with extras such as window tinting and nitrogen in the tires. I told them I did not want to pay for this stuff and they assured me that I was getting a special price because I was going through my insurance company. I refused these items and came to a deal with the salesperson who even shook my hand when we agreed on the price. Well, they kept me waiting an hour to sign the papers. I met the finance guy who had me sit there while he printed out the papers (why was I kept waiting an hour?) The finance guy added an extra $239 for some security number etched in the window of the car. I said that I didn't want that and he told me it was already added to the car. I am sorry to say that I was tired and I relented to this underhanded tactic. I was given a piece of paper to sign regarding the window etching (a copy of which I was never given). After purchasing the car and inspecting it in the light of day. I found that there is no window tinting on the vehicle. Also, the only nitrogen in the tires is the nitrogen that occurs naturally in the air. What were they trying to charge me for? I have looked at every window and I can't see a security number etched anywhere. I believe I was somewhat scammed by this dealer. I was duped out of $239. It is unfortunate that the Chapman VW does business this way. Not only am I never going to a Chapman dealer for sales or service ever again, but I am never buying another VW. Yes, they made an extra $239 from me, but it was cost them my business foreve. There are many VW dealers in Phoenix, if you are smart, you will choose a place other than Chapman VW.
