This was my daughters first dealership experience (she'll be graduating from high school soon and we were looking for a "newer" car for her) and mine and my husband’s first dealership experience in many years that didn’t involve buying from a family member (lots of family members in the car biz) so we were a little apprehensive. We had researched and had a few different brands in mind including the VW. San Tan VW had two of the brands (used) on the lot and Marty Katz (AWESOME Sales Rep) took his time letting us explore each and guiding us while we made our decision. Knowing my daughter was going to be the driver he made sure to include her in the discussion and experience the whole way through. Once we decided he got us to Brian who made the purchase process fast and easy and even beat my banks interest rate! Awesome job by all! They even stayed late to finish the deal and when we got halfway home and realized my daughter had left her parking pass in our trade and we raced back an employee (sorry I didn’t get his name) who was locking up unlocked the building, got the keys to our trade and helped us get the parking pass right then. In the short time it took him to get the keys, another employee who was obviously on his way home as well stopped to tell us even more great features about the Jetta we had just purchased, which he didn’t have to do since we’d already purchased. That pride and loyalty to the product as well as commitment to customer service (before and after the sale) is what sets San Tan VW apart from other brands and dealerships. No pressure, just the simple confidence that if left to choose we would see that the VW was the superior product and we did! A little bit more on the service after the sale. When we were wrapping up the purchase and Marty was presenting the car to us, a wonderful experience in itself (you’d have thought it was a brand new [insert some outrageously expensive overpriced car brand here] instead of a pre-owned Jetta) we noticed that there was only one key. With a teenager driving the car and especially since the key is the special switchblade type with the remote all together in one there is no way we could not have had a second key. Marty assured us it wasn’t a problem; that he’d get a second ordered for us right away at no charge. Awesome! Marty kept in touch while the key was on order letting me know he wasn’t forgetting about us and making sure we were not just content or happy but delighted with our purchase. Yesterday while my daughter was dropping off the car to get the new key programmed Marty came out and shook her hand and thanked her for her business and wished her and our family a Merry Christmas. Thank you Marty for proving my point, you’re an amazing person! Wonderful experience and I'm betting my daughter will now be a VW owner for life. We’ll be recommending San Tan VW and Marty Katz and team to our friends and family as well as probably seeing you again soon for a new car for me!
