My college son took his 2000 Dodge Dakota in for service. He told the service advisor his truck would not come out of 1st gear. Locklear performed an automatic transmission diagnosis to determine the following and I will note the vehichle does have 110587 miles, lot of miles, I agree. The dealership replaced the transducer, govenor solenoid, filter pressure boot plate, pan gasket, cover pressure boost valve, transduse-pressure sensor, solenoid transmission gov.,filter valve body, gasket . tramission flush. I also paid for the fluids and the flush kit. I'm sure you have figured it out by now that it wasn't cheap. 24 hrs after my son picked his truck up from the dealership, heading home 300+ miles away, I had to pay a tow truck 3$ a mile to get him the last 57miles. Locklear did not stand by the work,or determine the real problem which was a defective coolant, not found in Locklears shop causing the speed sensor to burn out , which cost another pretty penny to a transmission shop.
