We purchased two conversion vans from this dealer and the service has become unbearable. Our van 2004 Savanna had problems in July 2006 and the battery was diagnosed and replaced under warranty. In October 2007 we had the same problem and we took it to Advance for a free diagnostic where they said the alternator was bad so we took it back to this dealer and the dealer stated they could not find anything wrong after they kept it for 4 days. Several weeks later it was not starting again so we took it back again and they stated the battery was bad and it was out of warranty (12 month as stated by technician) and they wanted to sell me one for 175.00. I declined this offer and they charged me a 20.00 diagnosic fee,we then took it to Walmart for a 3 year battery for 62.00 and the walmart technician stated the alternator was bad. We took the van to the Chevrolet dealer who had it diagnosed in 5 minutes as the alternator and also found the radiator was low on fluid since the radiator cap was bad and the serpantine belt was cracked. When we went back with the paperwork showing the battery, alternator, radiator cap replacement to Nichols and talked Justin Nichols the Dealership Manager who brought in the Service Manager and we spent several minutes listening to them defend themselves with a half hearted appology. We wont be doing business with this dealer again.
