Do not buy here

Bought a 2015 Durango here & everything started well, but ended horrible. Dealer would not abide by their agreement that they signed. Rebate had conveniently expired the day before, but we didn't discover it til we were signing papers. They weren't even going to tell us. That was a big part of the reason we wanted the car. Our gut instinct was to get up & leave, but unfortunately we didn't. We bought the car, after 2 hours of pressure from them. We had 3 items on the "we owe" paper, that after 2 months still have not been taken care of. We were promised a loaner car by the salesman to drive as it would take a day to take care of the things owed. Now they refuse to provide a loaner, saying they don't do that. We live 40 minutes away from this dealership, and with my job I usually only get one day off. This was another incentive they used to buy this particular vehicle, they would provide a loaner so I wouldn't miss any work. Now, no one wants to return our calls, they don't want to have anything to do with us. My husband even tried to call the owner of this dealership. His wife returned the call, after my husband left several messages, & she was very rude to him. We wish we could just take the car back & hand them the keys. We trade cars every 3 years, bought 3 cars from the same dealership (a different one from this), but we have never been treated like this. They will not get our return business.

Bait & Switch???

I found a truck on the internet that looked promising. I called and scheduled a test drive. When I got there,1 hour after phone call, the truck was "missing" but they had one similar...the only thing similar was the make of the truck. They tried to send me home in it and refused to give me a firm price on it. "Just take it home today and see if you like it" I left with VERY negative feelings about the entire process...No truck, never will go back and will discourage others as well.

Subversive Tactics

Online Chuck Stevens Dodge had a nice Dodge truck for a decent asking price. It was a 4 hour drive from my area so I called to negotiate an out the door price. I spoke to the online sales manager and offered him asking price "out the door at that price" tax tag title included. The sales person said he had to ask the Store Manager and he would call me back. After about ten minutes he called and said that they really wanted to sell the vehicle and the manager agreed to that price. I picked up a check from my bank for that agreed ammount and drove 4 hours to the dealership. After test drive I was satisfied and decided to purchase the truck. However the Manager said there was a miscomunication and the price quoted didnt include tax tag title, I would have to pay 2k over what we agreed on the phone. I left angry and drove home without the vehicle. I was however able to find another even better deal at a different dealership. I called made a deal, drove 6 hours for this one, but I walked in with the check paid the agreed amount and left with a new vehicle. This is how it is suppose to work The store manager at Chuck Stevens was rude and smug. I felt as tho he wanted me to make that long, drive fall in love with the vehicle and pay his markup. I would rather pay more to an honest person than pay someone like this. Be ware of this dealer...

Sold me a worthless vehicle, would not run next day

I purchase a pwc from the sales manager, Chad Bartz at the Chuck Stevens Dodge Dealership in Bay Minette, AL. The next day, the vehicle did not run, still does not run and Chuck Stevens Dodge says it is not their problem because it was sold "AS IS". Also, I was told the vehicle was from a Pawn Shop. I am now suing the company (Chuck Stevens Dodge). To all those buying from Chuck Stevens Dodge, BEWARE! Ask if your vehicle is from a Pawn Shop and what happens if it does not run. THEY SELL VEHICLES, AT THE DEALERSHIP, FROM PAWN SHOPS! THESE VEHICLES ARE WORTHLESS AND THEY REFUSE TO HELP!

Efficient and Fast

We had been looking at a 2011 JGC online that they had in stock. We emailed Derek with some questions & he encouraged us to stop in. On our way to a family visit, we stopped in to check out the JGC and we ended up buying it. Since we had plans with the family and needed to go, they got us out of there (including financing) in an hour and 15 minutes. Unbelieveable!! And we got a great deal too! We could have bought in Foley, but they wouldn't make the deal. So glad we stopped by Chuck's and gave them a shot!!! Everyone was so nice and we would go back there again!!
