Oil Change and New Battery

While getting an oil change and multi-point inspection for my 2016 Buick Enclave, the technician determined that the battery was failing. The battery was the original that came with the car from the factory, so by April of 2021 it probably was about time for a new one. Jimmy Smith GMC Buick replaced the battery and changed my oil in well under an hour. Good job!

Warranty Service on my 2016 Buick Enclave at Jimmy Smith GMC Buick

The "Check Engine" warning light came on, so I called and made an appointment. Jimmy Smith GMC Buick in Athens, AL quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered a Canister Purge Valve. I had to leave the car for a few hours, but they replaced the bad valve under Warranty. Good Job!

They Have Always Done a Good Job For Me!

I made an appointment to get an oil and filter change for my 2016 Buick Enclave. We were in and out in no time! Making an appoint helps to expedite, I think. And GM was running a rebate on oil changes at the time, which helped a lot. Good Job by All!

needs improvement

I scheduled my appt. online and still had to call the dealership and make an appt. the part was not in stock as it was quoted up front and I had to reschedule .Communication with this dealership needs to be improved to the customer.

Unethical Business

We bought our 2009 Buick Enclave in June of 2012. They agreed to our "out the door" price requirements, but we noticed the trade-in allowance wasn't enough to cover the payoff on our car. Yet the "unpaid balance" was as the amount we had agreed to. We asked how this worked out, and the finance person shrugged and said they didn't know but somehow the numbers work out. Since we bought an extended warranty, I knew the total price was slightly higher than our agreed price, but was surprised later to find they had slipped the unfunded trade balance into the finance agreement. They never went over the numbers, and as we were the last customers in the shop (last day of the month), I didn't look as closely as I should have. Bad lesson!!! It cost me $3500, that would have been a deal breaker if I'd have seen it, or been advised of it. Shame on me, but everyone else should BEWARE!!!
