RL Pricing?: by egrabor on Mon May 21 08:51:22 PDT 2007; We have a new 07 RL with just1400 miles on it. We have the wood steering wheel and knob, wheel flaps, wind visors on doors, spoiler on trunk and wind protective on moonroof, full matsand more. We made a life changing decision, and we are going full time RVing in a Motorhome. What do you think I should get for it? We are in Spokane, and it is gorgeous of course. Help required in WA for TL Type-S: by antz2000 on Wed Feb 28 21:09:37 PST 2007; Has anyone had a decent experience in any Acura dealers for a TL-Type S(6 speed) in Washington(Seattle/Spokane area)? I have been trying to talk to dealers to get a price around invoice but no one seems to be really interested in it. Would appreciate if someone can give me information on their experience for dealers around this area. Thanks A

Indy and Tman...: by johnny420 on Thu Dec 30 15:34:49 PST 2004; tman3 and indydriver,   I purchased my TSX a year ago to the day, with the deal sealed over the internet. The entire process was relatively painless, and the whole thing was closed in as long as it took for me to make up my mind.   I did NOT have to visit the dealership to convince them I was serious, because the dealership was over 300 miles away (in Spokane, WA). They had what I wanted (SSM 6 MT, non-nav) and were willing to deal. I did not make a killing, but got about $800 off MSRP with the pro pack thrown in. You have to remember that this car was then, and is now, a fairly hot-ticket item.   My experience with an internet purchase was a good one. No hassles and no BS.   I too had labored under the delusion that purchasing a car at the end of the year automatically tilts the balance in the buyers favor. This is not always the case. It can, but, in the case of a hot car like the TSX, the dealer really has the upper hand. Just MO.   Indydriver I disagree that Acura is intentionally holding back production of the TSX in order to push buyers towards the US made TL. The way I understand it, there really is limited factory space, at this time, available to produce the TSX. You have to remember that Honda/Acura really is not a large corporation in the grand scheme of things. I'm not sure where you get your information, but I'd be interested to hear.   Tman3, considering the $500 increase in the MSRP for the TSX this year, $26,300 really is not a bad deal, especially if you get the protection package thrown in (all weather mats, trunk tray and wheel locks). It's about what I paid last year. If you like the car, buy the car. I really think you'll end up loving it.   Bottom line, if you're really serious about getting a better deal than that, I counsel patience. If you wait it out a bit, and try pitting one dealer against another, you'll probably end up getting what you want.   Good luck,   Johnny

Re: TL price in Seattle area [michael108]: by uglydog on Fri Dec 31 22:53:19 PST 2004; The northwest seems to have higher prices than the rest of the country...don't forget we don't have that many dealers around the NW for competition. I bought mine 3 weeks ago in Spokane, and the best I could get was $32500 w/ protection package (non-navi). So your number is in line with my experiences. I should say though, I did get a tad over tradein bluebook on my trade after some effort, which probably effected the final price (I negotiated the trade first...maybe a mistake). They were willing to let me walk below that (they also had to ship the car from Portland, as they had no 6MTs on the lot). That shipping charge was included in the price, not on top of it. After I left the lot that day (while awaiting shipping), I called dealers in Portland, Boise and Seattle, some of them had no 6MTs on the lot, the ones that did wouldn't beat that price over the phone, even without considering my trade. The only one that ponied up was Acura of Seattle, which gave me a quote of $32000 even. I ended up with the car from Spokane, because I didn't want the extra drive distance to Seattle and didn't want to renegotiate my tradein...I might have thrown that $500 away on the new trade offer. I've since winced at some of the low offers I've seen on the east coast, but didn't find that out in the NW.

Dealers & Pricing for Northwest USA: by carson on Sat Aug 21 21:49:10 PDT 2004; I am interested in a 2004 TL with Nav and most of the dealers in Spokane,WA and Seattle are only offering around $800 under sticker or about $2,200 over invoice at $34,395. Anyone have an luck in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana or BC, Canada ? Thanks

New TSX: by johnny420 on Wed Dec 31 12:12:16 PST 2003; I picked up my Satin Silver Metallic Quartz 6 sp TSX yesterday from Acura of Spokane and am very pleased. Paid $26,290.00, which works out to $1,145.00 below sticker if you factor the protection pack that was "thrown in" (all weather mats, cargo mat, wheel locks and splash guards; $400.00 retail at this particular dealership). Certainly not the greatest deal in the history of man, but reasonable considering the present market for these cars in the Seattle area. I ended up dealing with the internet manager in Spokane because all the people I dealt with in the Seattle area were jerks. I'm tempted to drive my new car into one of these places just to rub it in. If you live in WA, I highly recommend dealing with the IM in Spokane. The 300 miles to drive there cost me about $20 extra in gas, and the drive back gave me a head start on my break-in. What a great car! BTW, I was also given $13,800 trade-in for my 2000 Accord EX V6, sight unseen. That's what got me over there. The TSX only had 7 miles on it, and I was the first to test drive it. I'm already developing an intimate relationship with this machine. Scary.
