I am in the Nashville Tennessee area and got quotes from a few dealers within a 200 mile radius. I am looking for new 2008 Acura TL w/ Nav. I'm paying cash with no trade. Prices are plus taxes, title and license. $31,920 Damson Huntsville, AL $32,577 Gary Force Brentwood, TN $35,790 Acura of Memphis, TN Wouldn't quote Harper Acura, Knoxville, TN (they wanted me to name my price) I was hoping for better and will likely hold out a couple months.
Re: NC Dealers for '06 TL [lawree]

I suggest that you also contact the internet salesperson at Appletree Acura, Fletcher, NC (just south of Asheville, near Asheville airport). I purchased my 04 TL 6 speed from Appletree for a great price, and they were courteous and straightforward. I compared prices at Acura dealers in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Knoxville, TN, but Appletree/Fletcher, NC won my business, which will also include a RDX purchase in 2006. If you purchase at Appletree, the first drive down from the mountains on I-40 will be a blast for you! Good luck.
Nashville or somewhere kinda close
by mokeyjoe on Fri Jul 16 06:06:31 PDT 2004
Has anyone bought a TSX, 6sp, no nav from Gary Force Acura in Nashville? I am looking for a good deal...aren't we all!! I am willing to travel outside of Nashville for the right price. I was offered $25862 from somewhere in Atlanta. I was not impressed with this price at all. Lemme know if anyone has had experience in Nashville, Knoxville, Chatanooga, Memphis, Huntsville, Atlanta Louisville or Lexington. Thanx

I looked in the east TN & NC in March, and I decided to purchase a 2004 TL in Asheville, NC, at Appletree Honda, Fletcher, NC 28732. My reasons were: (1) Nashville was too far to drive and the salesman was surprised I received a sale offer for about $650-$750 over invoice (they would not match); (2) Same story for Chattanooga, and they tried to talk me out of the color I wanted even though I wanted to order it (!); (3) Knoxville would order one but I doubted receiving any significant discount, and all new TLs on order were promised/sold, so no switching of cars/colors already on order; and (4) the relatively new salesman at Appletree in Fletcher/Asheville was congenial, met my special order request, offered to ship to Knoxville (I preferred the drive), switched out new tires for new tires that I purchased in Knoxville, and the Sales Manager approved a great deal, even though ordered (6 weeks wait). I have found the Service Dept. at the Knoxville Acura dealer to be outstanding, and willing to provide Warranty service (one visit), with NO questions asked as to where I purchased. Also, try Winston-Salem dealer for a potential end of June deal for a TL on the lot. Good luck. If you consider a 2004 Honda Accord Coupe, 6 cyl., call or email the internet sales person at West Side Honda, Knoxville, 37922.

A buddy of mine got a great deal at Pye (may not be correct spelling) Acura in Knoxville, TN. Said he paid $31K with Nav. I said, W/Nav. White and tan int. He also said there is a high performance version with a slightly different grill and beefed up engine, coming out in a few months. Anybody know bout this?
MDX Lease Price
by mrshutter on Tue Jul 30 10:05:45 PDT 2002
We just took delivery of a 2002 MDX last Thursday, July 25th. I lease vehicles due to owning my own business.(Use those before tax dollars) Have been leasing for years through Ham Wallace at Hoover & Associates in Nashville. Total cap cost was $ 40,865. This was a touring/navi with side steps, wood meter panel, wood shift knob, all season mats, rear splash guards, and front air deflector. The car actually came from the Acura dealer in Knoxville, TN. My leasing guy says the local dealer will not discount any from MSRP to an outside leasing company. The local dealer, Gary Force Acura in Brentwood TN, could not come close to the lease terms I received. During a 48 month lease I will save about $35/month and and did not have to put up $1800 up front like the dealer wanted. I put up $700 which was the first month's lease plus license, taxes and title fees. My total savings over 4 years will be about $2800 plus the residual at lease end was $2,000 lower than the dealer's. If I want to buy at lease end I have saved a total of $ 4,800. That buys a lot of gas. My wife and I love the MDX so far after about 175 miles. We had a Mercedes ML320 before this and the MDX is much nicer inside, has a better ride, handles better, and on and on and on. I did a lot of "lurking" on this board before deciding on the MDX so thought I'd share my pricing experience with you. I'll keep active on the board and look for ideas as well as share any I have. Mark
