Thanks to this board, and Jim specifically, I closed a deal for this same configuration and price ($42,485) for my new Tech/Ent. That was it - no other fees. I got a Nimbus Grey/Taupe MDX, that my dealer acquired via a trade. I bought from Jones Acura in Lancaster, PA, however they immediately matched the price that I was also offered from Jim's dealer (Pohanka Acura in Chantilly, VA). Jones knew I was working on another deal and agreed to the price in about 30 seconds. No negotiations needed. Made the deal last Saturday and picked it up yesterday.
Re: Price paid for '07 MDX Sport+Tech [mckomer]

I just purchased an '07 MDX Sport w/RES, Silver/Black, for $45,000 even, which is either ~$3500 off MSRP or $1000 over invoice, whichever is your favorite way to look at it. This includes destination charge but not TTL. The dealership is in Lancaster, PA, and the internet sales manager was very pleasant and easy to work with. We agreed on price before I even got to the dealership. The only remaining issue is getting fair value on my trade. I have been low-balled at a couple of dealers, so I am looking into selling it to CarMax or some other type of Auto Superstore. Feel free to contact me for the name of the sales person.
Got my RDX today.

After trying to get internet prices and quotes (and not succeeding) I went to Piazzza Acura in Reading PA. At first they offered me $1,200 off on the tech package. I said I wanted $2,000 and KBB on my 04 TL. The next day they called and met my price and also gave a little bit more than KBB for my car. They did not have many RDX's with the tech package in stock but you should get a least $1,500 off. They did try to sell dealer installed accessories and extended warranty but did not push it when I said no. Over all a good experience.
Buying Experience, York PA/Baltimore MD Area
by ponderpoint on Sat Sep 23 07:20:09 PDT 2006
I would advise anyone in York PA to go to Baltimore or Harrisburg (maybe Lancaster). The sole Acura dealership in York is pretty much a study of "Only game in town", developing an exclusivity attitude that doesn't really exist. My Acura TL buying experience actually started last year but was postponed by keeping an old Saab going for another year.... I guess you could say I got the ultimate low price. My wife saw a Blue/Parchment TL and got even more excited when she saw it was a manual - at the York dealership. I knew the pricing, so I offered them 33.5K just to lock it up, no questions or "fluff talk" from the salesman. I'm sure this price appears completely ridiculous to folks in this forum, but remember - we have already saved thousands by just keeping an old car going a year longer. THEY TURNED IT DOWN! We were shocked! We split, my wife was dejected and I just told her that I'd hunt around and give it over to internet sales - we would get a far better price but probably not the exact car she loved. I told her that they're trying to get rid of their "lot queens" down in Baltimore or elsewhere. She agreed. Baltimore was hungry! At one dealership I got the definite feel that they were really trying to to dump one car in particular - it looked really "sunburned" like it sat on the lot all season. They started at 31k with no fees. I said no - didn't like it. They started going lower and I said it wouldn't help, I just didn't like the car. We got to Frankel Acura on the north side and found a price of 31k, (really 31.8 because of mumbo-jumbo fees that everyone knows don't really exist) and the salesman would actually try to find the car my wife wanted. I warned him that we were from PA, so don't deface the front bumper (we don't have front plates in PA) and don't put that stupid dealer logo on the back either. Also save the sticker price and brochure (we like to have this when we sell the car someday to a college student or such - they seem to like that) He was very accommodating - putting up with my idiosyncratic behavior. We gave him the order of preference on color the only hard deck item was that it had to be manual. Couple days went by and he found a blue/parchment TL! We went down and picked up the car and while waiting I casually glanced at the sticker price to see where the car originally came from.... It was the exact same car that was on the York PA lot!

That's great. Is that the dealer you are dealing with: "Piazza Acura of Ardmore" 150 West Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA. If that's the one, I will contact them today. Thanks again! :)
