I know it is late. I got my TL/Tech with 7 miles on it for $34,100 on October 14. I purchased at Columbus Acura, Dublin, OH. Jason Byerly was the salesperson. Very pleasant buying experience. :)

The internet gi ended up being my salesman. He told me he had recently delivered an RL to a customer in Virginia who happened to be 83 years old. I told him I hope I'm able (both physically and financially)to buy an RL when I'm 83. By the way the RL in an incredible ride also. It feels a little bigger but still has out standing handling and performance.

I paid $33,300 for a gray/ebony, auto, navi, but that was only half the story. I looked at and was quoted for my trade at several dealers as we looked at other cars. Every other dealership where we had our trade appraised came in at least $1000 less then what we got at Lindsay. Some even $2000. I drove Volvo 60 & 80, Lexus GS300, Infiniti G35, Maxima, Altima's new S-ER, Caddy CTS & STS, and ultimately the RL and TL. We felt that the TL had the best combination of price, performance, and handling for our preferences.   We test drove the TL next to last at the other dealership in town fully expecting to do business there. Armed with your pricing I asked if they were competitive price wise with Lindsay. They said "yes" and proceeded to say they had never sold a TL for that price and that I must be mistaken as to the pricing. They also quoted my trade at a ball park of $1000 to $2000 less. I hadn't talked to Lindsay before so I called them to ask them to confirm a price for a TL. They gave me the price over the phone, and in an hour we were there closing the deal. We didn't go back to the other dealer or share pricing with either dealer. It was the best buying experience I've had since buying cars.   A footnote for others reading this post. I'm told that Lindsay not only does internet sales in a multi state area, but they deliver.

Thanks Eddiemac for the tip on Lindsay Acura. I now have a great car at a great price. This was the best buying experience I've had in thirty years of buying cars.
Columbus, OH buying experience

First time on this board - I'm a brand new TL owner, so I thought I would share my experiences. I also saw one or two postings earlier asking about Columbus dealers, so here is my story. I needed a car quickly as my wife's Mercedes was sold and I didn't want to wait. I went to Acura of Columbus (Dublin) since they are only 5 miles from home. I was shown a demo with about 3,800 miles on it. It was the exact car I wanted (Pearl White, Auto, non-Nav). I was quoted a crazy deal of $1500 down and $509/mo, 48 mos, 15K/yr. This is NOT a $500/mo car - especially with $1500 down and everyone knows that. Went back to the same sales rep 3 times - each time I was assured that high-mileage demos command this kind of money and I could get a new one for $570/mo, same $1500 down. Obviously this guy doesn't get it so I made some calls. I called Lindsay Acura and spoke to the Internet Sales Manager (name withheld per board rules). Super guy - 10 minutes on the phone and we had the deal put together: $800 down, $429/mo, 15K/yr, 48 months. Right where I wanted to be as well as consistent with what I have read elsewhere. Also, he had my exact car, fresh off the truck with only 2 miles on it! To check Lindsay's numbers, I called Matthews Acura in Marion, OH. Same exact parameters and they came back $3 per month less. So the Lindsay deal was not a fluke. For the record, Matthews also was a great dealership to deal with. Straight-forward, polite and professional. Lindsay Acura, and my salesperson especially, were extremely easy to deal with. Courteous, polite, professional and they respected my time. Total time doing the deal was under 30 minutes. I am still perplexed at how Acura of Columbus thinks they can get that kind of money for a demo with over 3800 miles on in. The bottom line: when you factor in how much money they expected me to put down against a $570 payment for a new unit, I saved about $155 to $170 PER MONTH on my new car compared to their inflated deal. This isn't real savings - since no one in their right mind would really pay the kind of money they are asking, but the delta on their "best and final offer" was astounding. Lindsay Acura did a great job - and I love driving my new TL!
