Just bought an RDX Tech: by pmaggan on Tue May 22 12:46:23 PDT 2007; I just signed a buyer's order for a RDX Tech package (Carbon Bronze/Ebony) for $34,549. I got them to throw in the Wheel Locks, Cargo Tray, and the All-Season Floor Mats. I initially used Edmund's to request price quotes from my local dealers (Cincinnati/Dayton). One came back with $34,160, the next for $34,645, and the third for $35,097. I ultimately purchased from Courtesy Acura in Lexington, KY as I will be moving there within the next year and they will become my local dealer. After three BMWs and a GMC Yukon, this is my first Acura.

The doc fee was pre-printed, not hand written on the price sheet as $250. This gives the impression it's nonnegotiable and fixed. We got a very good deal on the new TL, trade-in, plus some extra accessories so I didn't make a big stink about it. I felt as an educated customer we got a good overall deal even with the high doc fee. But when I got home, I looked up the price sheet from a car we purchased from them years ago, and the doc was written in at $50. Why it increased fivefold in a period of a few years is beyond me. I agree with post #2892, practically everything is negotiable. Ask them to justify the price. Also watch out for all the extras that pop up in the financing area, we passed on all those pure dealer profit scams.

I am planning to buy 2006 MDX Touring in next two weeks. Can someone who bought MDX recently in Columbus/Dayton/Cincinnati share me some price info and dealership details. This is my first SUV...am kind of nervous :-)

TSX price: by sgl on Mon Jun 19 16:30:35 PDT 2006; Dealer wants 26.1K for a 2006 red auto TSX with 5K miles on it (dealer demo). Am also considering Mazda6 S Grand Sport (can get new for 22.5K. Any thoughts. Just bought my son a RSX-S last summer so I know about Acura quality.
