The best quote I have from Arlington (if you're speaking of Rohrman) is $500 over invoice. I bought my TL from them and would have liked to buy my MDX from them, but I have multiple other dealers quoting me invoice or below ($1,000 in my pocket is better in mine than Rohrman's). After advising the sales manager that they are not competitive with others in the area, he told me he wasn't interested in selling a car at invoice and not making any money (ha, ha, yeah right, he must thinking I am really naive to think that they won't make any money). Oh well, I have 3 other dealers who are ready for my business and hopefully tomorrow I can close something with one of them. In the end, I will be below invoice, and I am happy with anything below invoice. I will post who I decide to purchase from once the deal is concluded.

No, no, no. Not sweet sufficently! Forget all that invoice jazz! Got my spankin' new '06 RL back in July '06 for a grand, grand off sticker! Throw all caution to the wind and come out a winner every time! It's what Senior citizens do.
Re: JDSF Can you tell me where you bought your RL? [gearheaded]

Yes! Just informed incentive continues til July 5. However, still looking for $41,000 price instead of $42,500, my lowest so far.
TSX Manual w/NAV in Houston
by houtsx on Sat Mar 11 06:39:37 PST 2006
Hello, This is my first time to post here. I have been lurking around here for several months reading up on several cars including the Acura RL & TL, and the Infiniti G35 & M35. But, after test driving the TSX, and considering the cost savings, I decided to go with the TSX. I originally wanted the Automatic w/ NAV (so my wife could drive it). However, after reading comments here regarding how much more engaging the Manual was, I decided either would do. I started negotiating with Gillman, here in north Houston, first. But, since they were not dealing and would not give me much for my trade in, I resorted to using the internet and the phone. I never got the best quote via email, as none of the dealerships were willing to be "used" to get a lower price from another dealership. Usually, their first response looked like a copy and paste response with a little information about the TSX and their "Incredible, Internet Only Offer", which was not much of a deal and usually was just below sticker. Here are the best quotes I got for an '06 w/NAV (all by phone except for Gillman): Gillman, north Houston....$28,671.93 Gunn in San Antonio (a no-haggle dealership)....$28,894 Vandergriff in Arlington...$28,321.93 Sterling McCall in sw Houston...$28,421.93 Since Sterling McCall had the exact color combination I wanted (Carbon Grey w/ Ebony), in a Manual transmission, I drove down there and gave it a test drive and loved it. They didn't try to change the deal once I got there, and they were willing to give me what I still owed on my trade in, which was about $1400 more than Gillman. It was a real pleasure dealing with Sterling McCall. My out the door price was $29,927! I probably could have got a slightly better deal if I had negotiated harder, but I'm pleased with the deal. I was disappointed that the prices here (in Texas) are evidently not quite as low as many of you are getting in California and elsewhere. One reason is that the Invoice price here is evidently a little higher. Gillman claimed that Invoice is $28,171.93, though Consumer Reports says it is $27,872. This was "confirmed" as I talked with other dealerships (including Sterling McCall who offered $250 over invoice, which ended up being $28,421.93). They said Invoice is higher due to an extra charge dealerships in this area (Texas, I guess) pay for advertising! Oh well, awesome car!

I'll give you all the quotes I have for an automatic, non-nav. John Eagle - $26,300 Sterling McCall of Houston - $26,495 Champion Gulf Freeway - I told them David McDavid of Austin quoted me $25,700, and the guy said he can match it, but not beat it...it was hard to contact them Gillman never called back either. Sterling Acura of Austin - $26,250 David McDavid of Austin - $25,700 Gunn of San Antonio - $26,399 (they are a non-negotiable dealer) Goodson in Irving - $26,072 David McDavid of Plano - $26,086 Mac Churchill of Fort Worht - $25,900 Vandergriff of Arlington - $25,800 I bought my TSX today...$25,700 from David McDavid in Austin...probably could have gotten a little lower, but they were not budging. Oh well...it was the lowest quote I got in Texas, so I took it. Good luck!!
