New Sport in Cleveland: by dylon561 on Thu Apr 26 08:03:03 PDT 2007; I just picked up a silver Sport for $43,750. Added sport running boards and D/N mirror for $500, $250 doc fees, $25.50 title & tags and 7.5% state tax out the door for $47,863. I came in $1,000 above Consumer Reports dealer cost ($41,075). Didn't haggle very hard. I'm pretty easy going and so were they. All over the phone with the internet contact at Park Acura in Akron, OH. AMAZING ride!

I live in Pittsburgh and a few years ago I bought a Lexus in Akron, OH because I was fed up with the local Lexus folks. They did exactly what you said and when I registered the car, I paid the PA sales tax and that was that. I would bet that you Acura dealer you are considering has done it many times.

05 TL without Nav, Cleveland OH: by khastak on Mon Nov 08 14:04:39 PST 2004; I went to Acura of Cleveland on Sat the dealer quoted $31750 for non nav..is this is good price? Secondly the dealer was extremely rude and unprofessional and was not ready to negotiate at all. This week i am going to Motorcars Acura and maybe one more dealer in Akron. Based on my last message i was given the idea that $30900 is a good price for 05 TL non nav..is this price still a good price? or can anyone suggest a good price to negotiate Any suggestions/ help is welcomed

They didn't give me too good a deal ($31,800). They did give me a good deal on my trade though. HOWEVER, that was before Acura of Cleveland opened. Since then, I've heard prices are lower. I'm willing to bet Acura of Cleveland will give you a good deal, and you can use it to bargain with Motorcars. I suggest you give both (and Park in Akron) a shot and see who will deal.

Got a great deal in Akron, OH!: by luvmyacura on Tue Jun 17 16:59:46 PDT 2003; Hi! I'm currently a 2001 CL-Type S owner looking to trade up to a 2003 MDX Touring with Navi. I've been following the posts here and on other group forums regarding price. I just received this internet quote from my local Acura dealer for $2,650 under MSRP! Here is part of his e-mail response: "As you know, the MSRP on the MDX Touring with Navigation is $ 41,000.00. I am trying to promote our internet sales division, therefore, I am authorized to sell the vehicle to you for $38,350.00 plus tax/title and accessories that you would like added to your vehicle." I think that's a pretty good price! May be worth it for you NJ, PA people to drive the 7 hours or to even have it shipped. I've also been told that certain Texas dealers are coming in around $3,000 under invoice. Not worth it for me now, since they gave me such a good deal right here in Akron. I'll have to wait until Mid-July to get my hands on that beautiful Midnight Blue, though. It seems it's a really difficult color to come by. I know I had a hard time finding even one on all the websites I visited. He even searched a 6 state radius and came up empty. Fortunately, there were 13 on order, so he'll be able to get one re-routed from another dealer. I added the running boards for 669.00 and got them to throw in the wheel locks and moonroof sun visor.
