They were a little tough to deal with honestly initially, but I pointed to the salient facts (high inventory, decrease in 10-13% in sales compared to last year, gas prices, etc) and gave them a low offer on purpose initially to try to get as close to invoice - rebate as possible to meet in the middle so to speak. From the internet quotes, Stevenson in Wilmington is useless (gave me an offer that was $1000 off MSRP! what a laugh), but Crown in Greensboro ($5500 off MSRP was their initial offer) and Flow in Winston-Salem ($5300 off) had some very competitive internet offers without even haggling, but they were ~2-3 hours round trip away so less convenient. Leith in Raleigh has the most inventory but their quotes were a little higher. Didn't bother with Leith in Fayetteville or Apple Tree in Fletcher as they were farther away and smaller in size.

I am the proud owner of a Milano Red with Ebony Int.6 speed with Nav as of 11/17. I priced the car at different acura dealers near us but ended up buying it in PA at a the dealer I have dealt with over five years. I dealt thru the service manager who got me a exceptionally good price. I am also getting free oil changes and other goodies. I am in the area often so that helps. Happy Thanksgiving.

Quote in NC...: by ronsteve on Wed Aug 17 17:31:17 PDT 2005; Talked to a dealer in Raleigh about a new TSX 6-speed, non-Navi... he quoted me $26598 (after his doc fee, but before TTL). Catch is he'd have to source the car from somewhere else (has no 6-speeds in stock), and he figured that into the quote. My local Acura dealer here in Wilmington has the car (even the right color!) in stock and did give me a test drive, and threw a nice number at my trade ('02 Accord V6 coupe), so I'll damn well give him a chance first... if I could just pull the trigger. Damn long-term fiscal responsibility!
