They were a little tough to deal with honestly initially, but I pointed to the salient facts (high inventory, decrease in 10-13% in sales compared to last year, gas prices, etc) and gave them a low offer on purpose initially to try to get as close to invoice - rebate as possible to meet in the middle so to speak. From the internet quotes, Stevenson in Wilmington is useless (gave me an offer that was $1000 off MSRP! what a laugh), but Crown in Greensboro ($5500 off MSRP was their initial offer) and Flow in Winston-Salem ($5300 off) had some very competitive internet offers without even haggling, but they were ~2-3 hours round trip away so less convenient. Leith in Raleigh has the most inventory but their quotes were a little higher. Didn't bother with Leith in Fayetteville or Apple Tree in Fletcher as they were farther away and smaller in size.

What kind of financing are they offering at Performance Acura, Chapel Hill. I live in Winston Salem, NC and don't mind driving down to Chapel Hill for a similar deal if they are offering a low financing.

Carbon bronze with taupe interior. I found this dealership to be outstanding. They were very professional and understood the market conditions for the 07 TL type S. There internet sales department is great. I found it a waste of time to try and work with other acura dealers in the area. I have not had any problems with the car and do not have any rattles or complaints. However, I only have 50 miles on the car.

Re: MDX Pricing for Raleigh, NC [joe118]: by englanddc on Wed Apr 25 08:15:50 PDT 2007; I live in Raleigh and bought a WONDERFUL MDX TECH/ENTERTAINMENT about three weeks ago at Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg, MD. I LOVE IT! I flew in to Reagan National in D.C.one morning, hopped on the metro and the salesperson, who was great (no pressure,just helpful), picked me up. I was on my way home by 2:00, after he spent at least an hour and a half going over the navigation system and bluetooth which was a good idea. By the time I drove it home, I was had all the gadgets pretty much figured out. I paid $42,395.00 for it. The guy at Leith wouldn't come close to that price, but the fellow at Performance Acura in Chapel Hill did do a little better, but I found it was worth flying up to MD. If you would like, email me directly and I will give you the name of my salesperson. The only negative is that they told me they would get my license for NC in two weeks and it is now three and I don't have it and when I called up there, they weren't scrambling to get it for me. Oh, and the bluetooth does have trouble with southern accents! I do love this car!

I actually cut and pasted one of your price postings in the email negotiations and got this pretty good price for AT, No Nav: Sale Price: 25,800 NC TAX (3%): 774 Doc Fee: 398 Title Fee: 74 TOTAL OTD: 27046 This included trunk tray, wheel locks, mud flaps and cargo net. For anyone from NC who is interested, I bought from Performance Acura in Chapel Hill and negotiated completely through email (except for all the stuff they throw at you in the finance office). They were very responsive and up front about everything. I took my test drives at Leith in Cary and they were great for test driving but wouldn't respond to my repeated email requests for pricing. During our test drives they basically said they were turning away customers who requested 'invoice or better' pricing so they just didn't seem very interested in the business. Just one question for all of you current lookers/buyers. I told the finance manager that I heard there was 3.9% Acura financing rate currently. She said she wasn't aware of it, left the office and came back with an printout showing the special rate didn't start until December 5th. Can anyone else confirm this? Posters on the TL board said they received that rate on the same day I bought - wondering if that rate was only for TLs until 12/5? BTW, I got a 6.04% rate for 36 mo.

No deal. I called some of the dealerships I would be willing to catch a train/plane to to check if the prices represented here were accurate. They were. So - then I called all of the local dealerships here in Raleigh and in nearby Chapel Hill, Winston, Greensboro etc. and still couldn't get anyone to deal. Finally, I found the Leith Clearance Center in Fayettville. Awesome salespeople to work with there. I have several posts about this, but my pricing info can be found in Message #2258. Good Luck!
