Re: MDX Lease [hemorse]: by mdx4mywife on Mon Apr 07 05:41:23 PDT 2008; The comparison I can make is to my own lease we are currently in. We leased my wifes 2006 MDX in April of 2006. The Sticker of the vehicle was $44.8K. I never put any money down on my leases and that is one of the first things I told the dealers when I called. I contacted 7 dealers within 200 miles of Charlotte NC. The deal I took was 3 years 15k per year for $558/month. This included running boards installed by the dealer on a MDX with Nav and RES. We will be looking at this time next year when the lease on the '06 runs out. I hope deals on the new body style are better than current by then.

Just bought 2008 Acura MDX with Tech: by mmedic on Sun Feb 24 02:07:48 PST 2008; This forum has been a great resource for me so I figured to contribute now that I purchased my new MDX. I live in Charlotte, NC area and here we have only one local dealer that in the past was not willing to deal. So I gave them a chance anyway but also started to open my horizon a bit and asked dealers that are a 1-2 hours away as well as dealers in Northern VA (I used to live there and still have family living there) as I've read on this forum that they tend to be the most aggressive. In the end I got several offers on a new MDX with Tech ranging from 39,750 to 42,000 (with the later coming from the local Charlotte dealer - when they told me that I started laughing. I honestly don't know why are they in business if they 're trying to rip people off). Note these on these prices you only have to pay taxes and everything else is included. Also, there are no accessories on the car except for wheel locks and mud guards. I ended up buying from Crown Acura in Greensboro, NC who offered $40,000 since they offered quite a bit more for my trade than the lowest dealer. But if you don't have a trade, you can have a new MDX with Tech for $39,750 + tax or even $39,500 + tax if you push a little harder. They even offered me Tech + Ent for $41,400. Should I pay extra for Sport package?: by thuff on Thu Feb 14 04:53:37 PST 2008; Hello all. This is my 1st time considering the MDX. I must say, I love it and will buy one. I travel approx. 30k a year. Do you think I should upgrade to the sport model? Is it worth it. By the posts I have read, if the MSRP is $47,995 and invoice is $43,587, I should expect to pay around $46,000. This seems high to me since Acura has a profit margin of 10%. Is it because they don't have a dealer on every street corner? I am a single woman, and I know that I can be looked at as easy bait! I will take any advice you all have. I am in Charlotte, NC if that matters. Thanks
