Pricing for TLS Auto in Western NY: by rayder1 on Sun Jan 14 10:09:39 PST 2007; Just paid $36,200 in Rochester on a clean deal. Got quotes from Cleveland to Albany which ranged from $36,400 to $36,700 (invoice is $35,444). Because can fly to Baltimore for $39 I checked prices there and was quoted $35,944. Used that as leverage on the Rochester dealer (figured the $250 in savings wasn't worth the 500 mile drive back home....).

Bought two cars at Curry Acura, NY: by yraghu77 on Wed Sep 27 11:42:19 PDT 2006; I am from Rochester, NY. My friend and I went to John Holtz acura to buy Acura TL. He wanted one with Navi and i didn't want the navi. After a couple of trips to the dealer, our final offer was $33,700 for Navi (before TTL and document fees) and $31,700 for the one without navi (before tax and other fees). The dealer DID NOT agree to our amazement although we were buying two cars at the same time. We were really angry, so we decided to buy in some other city and fortunately came across this forum and noticed the price we offered was way above what everybody else is paying. So we decided to checkout Curry Acura in Scarsdale,NY. The sales executive was really nice and gave me a quote over phone when i explained to him that i don't want to drive 6 hrs just to get a quote. We finalized the price and both of us are going to pick up our cars this saturday. Final price $29900 + TTL for my car (Anthracite metallic with EBONY) and $32500 + TTL (Black with EBONY) for my friends car. We are very happy to have saved almost 3000 dollars. TL w/ nav in Rochester, NY: by glevine on Sat Feb 26 16:37:27 PST 2005; Thank you to all involved with this excellent forum. After much research and reading 3 months of postings, we were able to negotiate a silver with black interior TL w/ Nav for $33,800 which included about $1200 worth of dealer installed extras (side molding, lid spoiler and protection package). Also, the new TLs with Nav come with Michelin tires and not the Bridgestones (the salesman told me the non-nav cars still come with the Bridgestones). It is very difficult here in upstate New York to buy a higher end car because there are only one dealer in town for each brand, including Acura, and therefore the negotiation options are limited. This forum helped us determine what was a fair price. Although the salesmen did not think this forum was worth anything, I disagree. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Thanks, Gary
