An extended warranty is not a waste. I have used them on my cars for the smallest things. It is a way for you not put out money to get something fixed that breaks. At the end of the day you cancel the warranty when you sell your car and get mnoey back for not usin a portion of it. Better to have a clean piece of mind. A car will always be a car.

what makes you think that there are 2006 MDX available. anyone who is looking for an 06 Acura now is a bottomfeeder. People must think that Acura is like Ford and carry leftovers. Acura vehichles are all sold out. The previous body style MDX is a hot seller in the used car market these days...

Hey guys, I live in Somerset, NJ and I'm in the market for a '06 TL probably within in the next two weeks. I've been getting quotes left and right from NJ and NY dealerships and so far, the lowest is 32,280 includ dest but not fees and title. Can you guys tell me what's the price breakdown on your TL w/ Navi? Also, if you can give me any contact info on who you guys dealt with, it will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! -Ray

Sorry fun6889, I didn't get back to you earlier. But, I don't hang out here everyday, now that I have my MDX. I faxed in the signed credit app and they faxed me the contract including the VIN. I've been babying the MDX, but there's so much technology in the thing, I would have to study the manual for sometime now. Don't you miss the days when you get into a brand new car you already knew everything there is to know?

Someone would have to explain to me what LoJack does over and beyond OnStar which already comes with the car. Besides, if your car's stolen, do you really want it back after they trash it? You should budget for maintenance and repair of your vehicle for as long as you own it. Very few things you spend on keeping a car on the road is going to be covered by (extended) warranty.

Just got back home in my spanking new MDX w/Nav. I'm tickled pink! No extras, but floor mats come with the car. They backed out from 39.4K, Doc fee 135, NJ Tire fee 7.50, Temp plate fee 3, TL 339. Then divide that number by 1.06, and there you have it. I consider doc fee as a part of dealer profit, so if you add that back in, you get a pretty good idea. Some dealers charge higher doc fees, so dealing with the walkout price was the logical thing to do. Payments come to $1110.11 for 36 months starting in 45 days, no money down. I am so thrilled. Every dealer's got like a 100 MDXs on the lot, if they don't wanna deal, they can keep it. Famous quote from Bridgewater: "The 1500 is our money Acura gives to us, and we don't have to give it to you." My reply: "You can keep the money AND the car! All yours!"
