Buying a car from a Acura Car Dealer
I just bought a 2011 AWD RDX with Tech Package including destination for $35,425. $500+ below invoice. The only other charges were TTL. Bought this in East Brunswick NJ. Great dealership, no hassle at all. Drove away with the car only an hour after I arrived at the dealer.
Just got a 2010 MDX (Grigio/Ebony) with Tech and a Remote Starter from Open Road Acura of East Brunswick, NJ. http://www.openroadacuraofeastbrunswick.com 36 Months / 12000 Miles $2100 (tax, title, fees, & 1st payment) $604.50 / Monthly (Including Tax). What do you think of this deal?
I recently (on Aug 21) purchased a 2009 Acura TL AWD/Tech Package for $37,500 plus TTL. It is silver outside and taupe/ebony inside. They threw in wheel locks but nothing else and they would not throw in all weather floor mats. I purchased it from Open Road Acura in Wayne, NJ. They did not have many AWD/Tech left (only 4 in the lot) although they have another dealership in East Brunswick. I live on Long Island.
Sorry just to clarify - you seem to be on the east coast and I am looking for west coast data. Thanks for your help.
We went to the east brunswick dealership and had the worst experience. The manager was arrogant and would not budge on his proce of 47K for Entertainment and Tech package with chome side bars. They were only offering 500 dollars for a 99 Camry with 100K miles on it and very good condition despite the blue book value of 3K. The manager will tell you he is making no profit by offering you this price with no proof to back it up. I would not go there. We visited the dealer in Montclair and had an amazing experience. The sales guy Paul Pudgets is very friendly down to earth and most of all reasonable. We got the MDX for an out the door price of 46K ( tech / Ent, roof rack, cross bars and chome side rails!!! ) HE even threw in the all weather mats! On top of this they gave us the blue book value for the camry of 3K that counted towards our final price. If you are a costco member you save additional money, I believe 400. He did give us 2K dealer incentive reduction on price. He spent 2 hours after closing making sure they put the chome bars on so we could take the car home that night and went over all car functions in detail. The manager Ric Coyle is also excelllent. It is his job to explain all the warranty packages but in no way does he pressure you. We ended up getting the remote start and the tire protection for a combo deal. All in all the experience was a 180 from east brunswick and we highly recommend going there to purchase your acura.
