Re: Market support was gone.. Incentive [thebink]

I agree that the incentives will probably come back within a few days...unless inventories nationwide are low. It's all supply and demand, and if you panic, you will pay more because they know you want it more. The best price I have seen posted is $27,500 for a base TL (supposedly from MD). The best price I have personally been offered is $28,206 (base TL) from SoCal. My local (Reno, NV) dealer said no way they could come close to $28.2, so they think it's either a bait and switch or I should take it. Wasn't in the market for an S-Type, but I found a Certified '07 S-Type with 4600 miles (dealer car) for $29k...thoughts? (add tax, doc, and lic fees to all prices). Mike

When I did my research, I got the price in writing (well, email) well before going there. I emailed the internet sales department and they were quoting me $500 over invoice on the 05' TL. I wasn't even thinking about an 06' until I went there and saw that they had some that just came in. When I saw a few of the differences, I simply asked what they were asking for the 06' and it was only $900 more than they were asking on the 05'. I did go down to Elk Grove and was not very impressed with them to be honest. Niello (at least the internet sales department) were very good to deal with. If interrested, I would simply email the internet sales department and get a price quote for either one and see what they respond with).
06 Acura TL

I purchased my 06' TL at Niello in Sacramento. They were very good to deal with. Not a lot of messing around except for my trade in, but that is pretty standard no matter where you go. I have driven it a few days now and I think this is one fantastic vehicle. There are no squeaks that I can notice. I like the blue backlighting on the non-NAV 06' information display. It is easy on the eyes at night. I think the only thing I would like to do is to get the windows a little darker. I am trying to find a competant window tinting place here in Reno where I live. I may have to go back to California for it. This is one nice car. Very quick and corners very nicely. My wife's boss's husband has already had a look at it and wants to go to the same place to go pick one up.

I'm new to this board. I just got a 2006 TL in northern California w/o Navigation, for $32,499 including a protection package of the wheel locks, trunk tray and splash guards. I also got them to throw in the invisible car bra protection which is normally $800 or so. This price is before tax, but includes desitination and fees. I looked at the 05 and they are pretty similar except for the display panel is a blue color now. The warranty went up on the power train to 6 years, 70,000 miles. That was nice.
