Prices for 2011 MDX with Tech package in MA by buyerinma on Sat Jan 22 07:38:36 PST 2011

I am looking to purchase a 2011 MDX with the Tech package in MA. Close by dealers include Acura of Boston, Herb Connolly Acura, Prime Acura and Acura of Peabody. MSRP with destination is $47,115. The internet/e-mail prices range from $43,280 to $43,577. I have not gone in for face-to-face haggling but I may get a bite on a $42,900 phone offer. Any comments or suggestions? I want to do something this week. No trade-in or much of an interest in options. Color is black and all dealers seem to have stock.

Re: Acura 2010 base MDX [maleaser58] by boatskigolf1 on Sun Mar 28 20:10:47 PDT 2010

I also live in MA and have been looking at purchasing a 2010 MDX w/tech+ent. You said you bought at a Northshore MA Acura dealer, would that be Acura of Peabody? Can you give some details on the actual purchase price $ for the MDX that was used for the lease calculation. What was the price relative to invoice and was it difficult to get your price? Did you look at other dealers in the area? Did you try any e-mail or internet connect previous to walking in and negotiating? Did you get any other accessories? Thanks, any additional info would be helpful, I am looking to buy with in the next month, would like to have hit the end of the month "deals", but not sure I can get it all together by Wednesday.

Re: Where and best price in New England / Boston? [thedan1] by dolsey01 on Thu Mar 05 12:27:18 PST 2009

To get into the 25K range you would probably have to qualify for the $750 discount from the AHFS Acura Select Advantage program: "Under the Acura Select Advantage Program, first-time lessees with maturity dates between Feb. 1 and April 30 are automatically approved to buy or lease a new vehicle through Honda Financial Services. The incentive began Feb. 2. Customers are offered a discount ranging from $750 for an Acura TSX sedan to $1,500 for a TL sedan or RDX crossover." I bought ours at Acura of Peabody because that is where it will be serviced. I paid $26,400 for mine which was invoice - $750 factory incentive plus about 1% of the dealer holdback. That left them with about $500 in profit. If I took one off the lot and they did not have to get the car from another dealer I probably could have got closer to 26K. Acura of Boston had a slightly better initial price quote but Brighton is not convenient for me.
