To get into the 25K range you would probably have to qualify for the $750 discount from the AHFS Acura Select Advantage program: "Under the Acura Select Advantage Program, first-time lessees with maturity dates between Feb. 1 and April 30 are automatically approved to buy or lease a new vehicle through Honda Financial Services. The incentive began Feb. 2. Customers are offered a discount ranging from $750 for an Acura TSX sedan to $1,500 for a TL sedan or RDX crossover." I bought ours at Acura of Peabody because that is where it will be serviced. I paid $26,400 for mine which was invoice - $750 factory incentive plus about 1% of the dealer holdback. That left them with about $500 in profit. If I took one off the lot and they did not have to get the car from another dealer I probably could have got closer to 26K. Acura of Boston had a slightly better initial price quote but Brighton is not convenient for me.

Did you send emails to them directly or go through Edmunds for a price quote? I've found that I got much better responses, deal-wise, going through Edmunds than emailing directly. Before we decided the third row was just a bit too tight for our liking I had Acura of Boston, Acura of Peabody and Herb Connolly, all going against each other. Acura of Peabody was the lowest and most easy to deal with, but also the furthest from us. The salespeople at Acura of Boston were the pushiest and also lied, saying that the only difference between the Sport and Tech was the suspension. I said, "what about the leather and xenons?" and the guy said, "Oh yeah, those too, but why would you want to spend extra for that?" Then I asked if I could take one out and he said they didn't have any on the lot. I hate when sales people try to push you into something even after you've told them what you want. He could have just said we don't have any Sports on the lot right now instead of wasting 45 minutes of my time.

Don't know where you are, but the dealer I got mine from, Acura Peabody MA has an 09 RL in blue or black (it was dark) sitting right in front of the dealership. I don't know if they'll sell it, but it is right there. The snout looks like a Saturn to me. http://www.weblogsinc.com/common/images/3464827614971248.JPG?0.24437243953833987- While I was waiting for the test drive car one of the sales reps admitted that many people don't like the look. It does have improvements, so if you don't mind the style, it is a better car than the 08 What is it with these cleft-palate looking cars? Blocking out half the grill with faux chrome is a fashion statement? I did OK, but they pulled a lowball price and then dealer addons to get their profits over a grand, @$1200. They lived, I lived. It's OK.

Just bought last weekend and thought I'd share my experience in case it may help someone. I'm actually from NH but with only 2 dealers in the state I ended up searching the MA dealers as well. Salesperson at Claire in N. Hampton was great but sales manager was a jerk. They also could not compete with the prices of the Nashua (sunnyside) or MA dealers. Of the MA dealers Bernardi in Brighton was by far the most professional and straightforward. Peabody was great to deal with but not so great on the price. Herb Connelly in Framingham seemed very deceptive to me and while their pricing was in the ballpark I just got a bad feeling from the way they did business. I ended up buying in Nashua because they offered a good deal (although I bet I could have got Bernardi to beat it by a little) and I prefer to keep my money in state. : 08 MDX sport/ent in sterling/taupe: roof rack cross bars all season mats sport running boards cargo tray cargo net side moldings third wireless headset Total price $46.6 including a $200 doc fee (that I had them take off the price of the car)

My $32,750 quote was from Acura of Boston, located near Boston/Peabody area of MA. This quote was given over the phone, after I explained I have talked to several other dealers and was ready to buy immediately at the lowest price. Had I not prefaced with that information, most likely the quote would have been more. I did receive another quote from a different Acura dealership (it was their "Internet" price) of $33,100. Not sure about lease deals, but I did get an email from Acura of Peabody (MA) the other day, indicating they are willing to sell RL's on the lot for $46,100 (I am pretty sure that was the price). They seemed to have a pretty good selection. The other day I had my TL serviced at Boston Acura, and they indicated that they are willing to go below MSRP. I guess this was bound to happen, with the new M and GS models as competition.
