Just Bought TL AWD with TECH Package

Hi all, I have been following this board for a while and it helped me with my purchase. The price was $38,000 which includes destination fee, wheel locks and all-weather mats. They would not include the trunk tray and mud guards so I skipped those. I really dont need it anyway. So it was $38,000 + 5% sales tax($900=38,000-20,000 trade-in)Title and license are included in the price of $38,000. So the grand total was $38,900. I got the Mayan Bronze with Parchment interior. This car is awesome!!!!! Thanks everybody. The dealer is Acura of Framingham in Framingham, Massachusetts. Very easy transaction over the internet and no haggle deal. My trade-in was a 2006 Lexus ES330 with 37,000 miles. To summarize $38,900 is OTD price. I am going to pay $750 dollars for them to paint the grill and the rear strip. Yep thats steep but it looks great!!!!

Anytime a dealer tells you a deal is "just for today," walk away right then and there. On the way out the door ask them what is so special about today-is it his birthday? There is always a better deal the next day or the day after. Let them know that you will not be pressured. I had a dealer tell me last week that the deal he was offering was only for today. I told him I wasn't prepared to make any decisions today and that if he wanted to do business with me he would have to wait. I got an email 3 days later with a lower quote. I realize you posted this yesterday so I may be too late, but I hope not. Good luck!

I went to Herb Connolly today. They quoted a price of 35, 605( including aftermarket DVD, wheel locks, and all weather mats). 39 mo/10k lease for 498+tax(522) with a upfront fee of 2600(inclusive of all fees). Moneyfactor of 0.00250. They told me the deal is only good for today. Please let me know is this a good deal? Would like to know the lease deals from Bernadi Acura other acura dealers around Boston. Thanks in Advance.

I've had great luck with accessories at hondacuraworld.com - they don't charge any shipping, but do charge $3.95 handling charge on each order (not each thing bought). Very nice guys too.

I had the same experience. Only quotes on the phone and wanted a credit card to hold a price. They told me the 0.9 / 2.9 financing was ending on 1/1 instead of 1/4. And then they tried to pull the destination charge extra (who does that?) I paid 35,2K for a base at Bernardi, great no pressure experience, they even went to NJ to get the color I wanted. (none in NE) where do I get acura accessories? I need a cheap cargo line and winter mats..Thanks.

Just wanted to say that if you are shopping for a car in MA watch out for Herb Connolly Acura. I think they are pretty shady. None of their numbers match up to any lease calculator I've found on the internet. They gave me one number over the phone and completely different numbers at the dealership. They switched salesmen on me twice on the phone and then again when I got to the dealership. When I started calling them out on some of their numbers - I was just trying to make sure I could calculate the lease payment myself - they tried to change the subject and finally they told me that they had "given me a quote on the wrong car". They had been giving me numbers for the MDX Tech instead of Tech Entertainment. What a joke. I should have been leery when I never got any quotes over email. In retrospect they would converse with me over email but anytime numbers came up it was always over the phone, never in writing. Other dealerships have been very forthcoming with putting some key numbers in email - total cost, monthly, residual percentages, etc. This is a lesson learned for me and even though I was tempted by claims of "we'll beat any price" I have to say that Sunnyside Acura in Nashua and Bernardi Acura of Boston have been far better to work with for me.
