Awesome Deal and Service... For anyone wanting an excellent deal and 5 star-rated services including being treated like Mr. Bill Gates, I highly recommend Ron Tonkin Acura in Portland, Oregon. I just drove 3 hours down from Seattle and picked up my 2006 Acura TL blk/blk/auto/nav and was personally greeted at the door by my well-dressed internet salesman. (I don't trust car sales people) but now I do with anyone from this dealership. He first informed me that the owner demands that EVERY customer is to be treated like the owners personal friend, if not then the employee may be discharged that same day. Here are the facts, not only did they have my car at the right price... they treated me extremely well, My salesperson welcome me to the dealership then walked me over to my new beautiful car and gave me a full breakdown of the features. Then he introduced me to my finance guy (Figured this is a hand off) but not. Within maybe 7 minutes I was fully financed with Honda 3.9%, welcomed and congratulated on my purchase then escorted back out to my salesman. My salesman then sat me down and went over the details of the warranty, sections of the owners manuals and other important information as a new owner should have. He also gave me personal recommendations which he was very knowledgeable about. Finally, he walked me back out to my car and again reviewed some of the more important features and programmed the Nav system for me to get home. While we were loading into the car to go home a couple came up with a big smile and asked the salesperson if this was the car they came to see.... He politely explained to them that it was sold TO ME ! as he had tried to get them to place a small deposit to hold the car but they thought it was a salesman’s trick... NOT. Anyway... the car, dealership and whole experience was excellent, I still can not believe it was so smooth... not catches, no extra charges, nothing but professionalism. I would recommend this dealership to ANYONE and would buy there again. I'm bothering to report all of this because they earned it and consumers need to know when a dealership performs this well.
