2009 base TSX AT

Well, I can’t say enough about the service at Scholfield Acura in Wichita KS. I got my TSX today, they drove it all the way to OKC to deliver it to me at no additional charge. The agreed price was $27,000, which I know is not as good as some people have gotten, but it seemed like the best I could do in this area. Anyway, I am very happy with it. The lease terms are 36mo/15k, 60% residual, .00215 MF, payment is $347.43/mo. In Oklahoma, you pay the taxes up front, they are not added into the payment. Love the car, it’s the crystal black with parchment interior, just beautiful. Term: 36 Base Payment: 347.43 Total Payment: 347.43 Purchase Option: 17,952.00 MSRP: 29,920.00 Est. Miles Per Year: 15,000 Capitalized Cost 27,000.00 Doc Fees 185.00 Total Capitalized Costs 27,185.00 Money Due at Inception 1st Month Payment: 347.43 Acq Fee (Upfront): 613.36 Upfront Taxes: 878.50 Total Out of Pocket 1,839.29 Total Initial Charges: 1,839.29
New 2008 Basic RDX

I was wondering if $28,687 for a brand new 2008 Silver with Ebony color RDX in Wichita, KS sounds like a good deal? This deal we got excludes taxes and fees.

I would say 31,600 plus sales tax and whatever it cost to register cars in your state. This works out to around $100 over invoice (slightly less) after you get the mfg to dealer cash knocked off.

Zach 10: I live in Kansas, not Florida. I was just trying to explain to the guy from Florida that these cars are selling cheaper elsewhere than what his dealer wants to do. He should probably contact your dealer to get a price + shipping charge to Florida. It looks like you female friend must have gotten pretty deep into the dealers holdback. I didn't even try. Our sales tax rate is 6.3 % here. Not too bad. Where they gig you in Kansas is personal property tax to tag your vehicle. Have not done this yet, but imagine it will be in the $500 to $600 range.

You just need to let the dealer know you are serious, and willing to travel or pay shipping to get the right deal. I just bought a base TL for what what I believe to be around $200 over invoice. Edmunds can tell you what invoice is on the car. Deduct $2500 for manufacturer to dealer cash, and offer them 1-200 over this number. This still leaves them with their holdback money and manufacturer credits, as well as help in their market share numbers. If they have put some dealer add ons like trunk tray, all season floor mats, and mud flaps figure they are only worth about 75% of retail. I had to tell my local Acura dealer that I wasn't afraid to pay shipping or travel to buy my tl and no matter where I bought it they would be the one servicing it. They sold me the car. There is a dealership in Kentucky that has base TLs advertised for 28,990 on Auto trader, I'm sure they will make similiar deals on Nav cars, A dealership in St Louis that advertises on ebay told me they would sell a base TL with mud flaps, trunk tray and floor mats for 29,875 out the door. (included doc fee etc) The only thing additional would be sales tax and registration. They will probably make similiar deals on Nav cars. I paid $29,750 (with $400 worth of add ons) plus a 185 doc fee, but it was worth $60 not to have to travel to or ship a car. Just remember they are changing the sheet metal in '09 and the market is flooded with these cars right now, Take competing bids to you local dealer and they will sell you the car at a good price. Good luck.

Just bought a 2008 Base TL $29,750 + 186 doc fee and of course sales tax and registration cost on top of this. This did include 3 dealer add ons (trunk tray, mud flaps, and rubber floor mats (400 list)). I called a dealer in St Louis who told me the exact same car would be $29,875 for everything except sales tax and registration. I was worth an extra 60 not to have to travel 500 miles to buy a car, but I had to threaten to do so to get my deal.
