Is it a HondaCare Warranty? If so as most have said here that will cost $1,100 to $1,200. Plus the Acura Extended warranty can be purchased just prior to end of the factory 4yr/50K. GAP insurance on a loan these days is good advice esp. with 5-6-7 year loans out there. Luckily for me USAA provides that on all of their car loans. Tires and wheels? Our 04 TL has 4 scratched rims, not bad but would be worth it if covered. The TL rims get no protection from the tires (rim sticks out further than the tire. Also, get in writing about getting your money back if you keep the warranty.

I wonder what is going on with the TMV edmunds provides for the TSX? As stated earlier I was able to get $1300 off my 05 6MT non-navi. However, TMV comes in at sticker. Seems like people placing blind trust in the Edmunds number would pay $1300 more. Also, seems as though the Dallas market must be very competitive as they have some of the best prices posted here.

bjmanusa,Did you buy the vehicle at an Acura dealer? If so you would get the certified pre-owned Acura warranty of 100,000 miles. Seems like a good deal. And if you are happy with the deal, great. The TSX is a lot of car for the money.

I ended up with $1300 off MSRP on an 05 non-Navi 6MT. There were only 3 in the Kansas City area that fit the bill. One was black, that I didn't want as our TL is black. I checked dealer inventory in Kansas, Western MO, IA and Colo and could not find another 6MT. So, not a great deal overall but I'm happy with the deal. Did not want to spend countless additional hours tracking a car down. FWIW

Where are you located dac1? Kansas City seems to be a bit of a stiff market at times. I am letting the 2 dealers see where they can get me price wise. Going to Denver for the New Year but inventory there is even more scarce.
