Thanks for the advice - Ill get on that. Has anyone seen how the Moon Roof Visor and the Wind deflector looks on the 08 MDX? I had the dealer add it - but now Im having second thoughts - I really like how the car looks now - Id hate to take away from it. I cant find pictures of the add-ons (Reasonable size)

2005 MDX CPO with NAV/RES, ? about key fobs
by jsb16 on Sat Aug 30 21:17:37 PDT 2008
Just bought the above MDX with 35K miles for $22,900 with 0.9% financing and an extra set of all season mats.. I asked the dealer to include three key fobs and although he gave me four of them, he only set up two and said that only two could be used at a time. I understand that there are only two memory presets but I would use the third fob just to open and close the doors. Three of the fobs say Memory 1 or Memory 2 and give instructions on pushing the lock and unlock buttons to link/unlink the memory seat. The fourth fob says nothing about a memory seat and just says Omron Corporation Japan in this same spot. The two remotes that work are one Memory 1 and the odd fourth remote. Has any one had success linking more than two remotes with a 2005 MDX? Perhaps my fourth remote is a non-touring model remote and I can use this while I program a Memory 2 remote too. The FCC IDs are the same on all four. Just for the data base, I paid an additional $950 over the above price to extend the cerified warranty from 5 years after in-service date to 7 years (AcuraCare) with no deductible. They wanted to sell me a higher priced non-AcuraCare warranty but I told him I would buy a Santucci warranty and they came down to this price.
My purchase of 2009 TSX in Dallas, Texas Goodson Acura
by haidongh on Sat Aug 30 03:59:36 PDT 2008
:shades: The car we get is the base model of the TSX with no navigation. Because it is a new model, some Acura dealership do not even want to sell it below the MSRP of $29600 (including $715 destination charge). We negotiate it for $28700 including the $715 destination charge, free tinted windows (a $300 option at the dealership) plus $300 anti-theft option (windows VIN number etching and ID trace) then plus taxes and title. The dealer says the manufacturer is not giving incentives at this moment for them. The sales person says this car is selling very well. It is not a bad deal, but next year it probably has a better deal. After taxes and title, we have it for $31,000 OTD.

The tl is DEFINITELY WORTH IT there is a huge difference between the two cars, but most of all they changed the shape on the tsx so you'll be driving an outdated vehicle. Id opt for the tl if you could. The tl feels like a more expensive car, the tsx feels like a 2006 accord.

$38,300 without any negotiating for a tech+ent seems a little too good to be true. Id be surprised if they didnt tack on random fees once you got there or something. The 39,422 is pretty much the same as what I paid for mine, but I used the financing so +$1000 and added about $1500 in accessories and was out the door at 42k+tax I think you can pretty much get every dealer down to that right now, and anything beyond it is gravy.
