I had the worst experience trying to get a 2008tsx: by stipmom on Wed Apr 16 12:32:16 PDT 2008; My daughter wanted black on black. First we went to AcuraofOcean in NJ where we had purchased before.They didn't have any in stock and would not bother to look for one without an additional$400-ontop of a price that was not even competitive. I give alot of credit to Bill Vincents Acura in Sommerville. The internet manager there tried to get the car for two days but none was around in NY or NJ. We then switched to the DC area since the car was going to be registered in Maryland anyway. Chevy Chase acura swore up and down that they had one in stock. Gave them a$500 deposit and got a vin number. I kept on asking him if he was sure they had one since the website did not seem to show any and he said they did. At 6:30 p.m. on Sat. he sent me the cost breakdown as my daughter's fiancee was going to pick it up on Monday.Monday morning he calls to see the car and suddenly it was sold Sat.nite. Since his email to me was after 6 I doubt that was the case.I then contacted Tischer Acura in Laurel Md who had also had the car on Sat. and asked him if it was still available.He said it definately was so I gave him a $500 deposit with again intending to pick up the car that night. Two hours later we get a call-the car supposedly had been sold late Sat. Shouldn't he have known that before he was willing to take my mone?.We did finally locate the car atRadleyAcura inVa for$26000incdestination.They were very easy to deal with.If I ever need another Acura I'd go to Bill Vincents Acura or Radleys.

08 TL NAVI - Is this a good deal?? $30783: by douglesso on Tue Apr 22 18:55:40 PDT 2008; I used the advice of fightingchance.com and the forum posts here and emailed dealers till one gave me a price. Then I went around in circle and let them try to beat each other out. Not sure if I'll get more. 08 TL NAV - $30,783 + Tax This price is invoice less $2500. Am I missing something here? Anybody done better? Seems like the dealers are eager to sell. I might up the ante and see if someone will add a spoiler. Washington DC area. Could the incentives get better in May? Appreciate your inputs. Thanks

2008 TL Type S - 5 spd Auto. w/Navi etc. (regular tires): by mommymeredith3 on Tue Apr 15 13:05:47 PDT 2008; Am I about to be taken advantage of? I'm in Balto-Washington DC area. Price proposed is $36,800 OTR, including taxes & title. Dealer (Frankel Acura) is starting with $1,500 under invoice (so he says) at $34,420, then add $1,721 (5% sales tax) + $659 for title / tags, which equals $36,800. Do you think they'd give me color matched splash guards, all season floor mats, and trunk mat if I asked? I'm getting my own financing, no trade-in. Thanks!

Our local Acura dealer (south east pa. 50 miles west of philly) had at least 12, 08 TSX in stock, various colors and options, nav., non nav., stick and auto. My daughter got a good deal on her TSX in Aug 08. W/out a trade these cars should be going close to invoice.

Acura TSX 08 HowMuch DC/MD: by greeney on Mon Mar 31 08:05:10 PDT 2008; Can anyone tell me how much they paid for their Acura TSX 08 in the DC/MD area? The dealers here want to charge me basically sticker price ($28,000) they won't move. I have been told by dealers 26,400 won't go. They said they would be losing too much money. The only accessories I want added is a cassette deck-like in the TL-(too many books on tape @:>) . I thought they would be ready to move them since the 09s are right around the corner. I just want a fair deal and no scams. Can anyone help give me give me any advice? Or where to go in the this area. I would appreciate very much. I am on a time crunch. Thanks, God Bless Ms. Greenly
