Me too- I went up to Acura of Milford which is about 4 miles from where I live after closing. They have approximately 36 TL's in stock, around 7 SH-AWD with Tech and a few without the TECH. I dont think inventory is a problem, the dealers are just not dealing here in CT. I am willing to stick it out until Acura releases some kind of attractive incenive. But on the other hand, if I see a white diamond pearl with the HPT wheels, I might be willing to make a deal.

Agreed that Milford Acura isn't the greatest dealership in CT. I shopped throughout CT and NY when shopping for my 2008 (TL with Nav) and Milford was not high on my list based on price and the sales guys. Not to mention that they didn't throw in any of the perks the other deals do, like free oil change for life, free car wash every time you bring it in, free loaner car with any major service, etc. I ended up battling between Greenwich and Norwalk, and Norwalk won my purchase. I have brought the car in for the first oil change and another call and I have nothing but great things to say about them too. So their sales guys are great, and their service is top notch (At least in my first 1 or 2 experiences). Maybe Milford has changed their perks package since then, but these perks are actually really nice. Love getting my car back nice and clean for free, and free oil changes! :)

i have had 2 bad experience at dealers in MA, one Acura of Walpole and another at Herb Connely in Framingham, i will NEVER step foot in those dealers again or recommend to any1. Also was disgusted with Milford Acura in CT, real bad experience there also as i heard from others about them too.. however i have had great experience buying Honda accords, if the new accords were not soo ugly i would buy another. so now im moving onto MB and Lexus ;)
Re: MDX tech pkge with Entertainment [wcd1]

Hello I also have tried going out of state for the tech and entertainment pkge. I tried Milford CT acura and the price was the same as I could get from Herb Connolly too expensive 43900 so why bother? Inskip in Rhode Island was the same thing same price.. I have been telling these dealers that we need to be as close to invoice with our trade to make the payments work and Acura Boston like I mentioned dropped his price 3 dollars.. makes me want to run and buy right? It shows they have 80 MDX's in stock.Telling me free inspection stickers for life and service and so on big deal I am paying for all of that in the inflated price. I believe if the price comes down I will deal with Prime even though Herb Connolly is right up the road. As the woman that I have been dealing with doesn't seem slimy as the rest.I haven't visited the dealership yet so that may change when we do. I'll be posting more on this as I'm sure I'll get bombarded with calls this week saying we can do better and so forth. I'll let you know Frank08 thanks
Re: Would like help on our 2008 MDX Price [mvs1]
by momster1 on Sun Dec 02 19:24:37 PST 2007
It looks like the MSRP is $45,900 for this model. If the invoice price is $4k under that, then that would be $41,900 and we were quoted $43,400, $1400 over invoice. The dealer claims that invoice is only a few hundred under what we were quoted. Does anyone actually know the invoice price for this model? mvs..if you were quoted $3k off MSRP, then would that be $42,900? That would be $400 lower than me...and I actually did recieve a quote like that from another dealer, but this dealer is closer and it didn't seem worth driving a lot farter for $400. I don't know what CT doc fees are...do you mean the destination charge? Is there another fee I don't yet know about? The other unknown are accessories...do they "get" you on those and do those vary by dealer? I don't think I'm ready to share the dealership yet until after we buy, but I will say that the slimiest one we dealt with was in Milford, who wouldn't actually give us a quote over the phone but called us several times to try and talk us into coming there.
