Would like help on our 2008 MDX Price: by momster1 on Sat Dec 01 16:25:21 PST 2007; Received a quote on a 2008 MDX Tech/Ent of $43,300. That doesn't include any fees or accessories. The dealership does offer free oil changes for two years. They were insisting that the invoice price was $42,600, but that seems different than what I'm seeing here. Can it vary? In reading the forum, I'm just not sure I'm getting the best deal (although, all quote I have received from internet shopping in my area are within a few hundred of each other). And I see that accessories are so expensive. Any advice? I live in Fairfield County, CT. Thanks!!

Re: Purchase in Baltimore / Maryland [bill124]: by squirtman on Fri Nov 02 20:14:30 PDT 2007; bill124, you obviously haven't lived in the NY area very long...if you did, you would already know that the NY/NJ/CT economy is unlike any other in the world and virtually impervious to stock market fluctuations and gas prices...I'm talking about the Westchester, Fairfield, Nassau and Suffolk county crowds...ask the small business owners and soccer moms in Scarsdale, NY or Greenwich, CT if they give a crap about $4/gallon gas when they are filling up their gas guzzling Land Rovers, Hummers or X5 Bimmers...I think NOT.

Here's what I've been quoted...36 mos. term, 12k/year, .00285MF (no security), 64% RV for base model MDX (MSRP of $40,665) negotitated price $38,800. Having roof rails and running boards installed for $900 for total cap cost: $39,700. $1606 due at signing. Dealer said running boards adds $400 to end of term RV. Monthly payment inc. tax $594.43. Fair deal? Was told that in my area (Fairfield County CT) there was limited room to negotiate price due to the demand. I got $1,865 off MSRP for Base MDX ($1805 over revised invoice pricing). As comparison I was told by the dealer that MDX w/ Tech was typically discounted $1400-$1500 off MSRP due to the higher margins of the Tech trim line.

Purchase of TL w/Navi in SW Connecticut: by soster on Sun Mar 13 08:18:53 PST 2005; I am located in Fairfield County, CT and after test driving the Infiniti G-35, Lexus ES 300 and the Acura TL, I've decided on the TL (automatic with navigation). I'm currently looking at the following dealerships: Devan Acura in Norwalk, Acura of Greenwich and Acura of Milford. MDX experience in Westchester, NY/ Fairfield, CT: by ddm2 on Wed Aug 04 07:44:48 PDT 2004; I just bought a 2004 MDX from Greenwich Acura and am very happy with the whole experience. I paid 39,900 for a fully loaded (Navigation & DVD)MDX and the salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable about explaining all the features of the car and the schedule of services. If you live in Fairfield county, CT. or Westchester, NY, I would highly recommend this dealership.
