Sounds like a good deal we just bought a 2008 CPO Sport with Tech and Ent package, running boards and roof rack for $37,800 but it only had 9500 miiles on it.
Hi everyone, Looks like we will be a first time Acura owner Monday if all goes well. After looking at new 2010 base models and some used we came across a 2008 Sport with the Entertainment and Tech package. It is Black with the Taupe interior and also has running boards and the roof rack. Here is the really good part it only has 9700 miles on it and we got it for $37,800 which from what I can tell it a pretty good price. Now for the bad part it’s at Jay Wolfe Acura in KC and we live in Denver…. road trip! Our sales rep has looked it over twice and says it’s in excellent condition, we are still waiting on pictures but have read the Car Fax on it. If all goes well we will leave here on Sunday and drive it back on Monday.
I am looking for a 2010 RDX with tech package AWD in the Denver area. 12 K per year. I need a great price to go on. I will be coming to Denver in june and have two days to make a deal with a dealership. Does anyone have a price that I should be asking for? 36 months 12k per year. Thanks.
The residuals are estimates based on recent history (I'm guessing more than just the prior year) and are there to protect Acura and the dealer from any substantial loss on the lease as well as to entice the lessee to consider purchase or lease extension at the end to the term. I'm talking about Blue Book in 3 or 4 years and one's ability in any given market to attract buyers or get a good trade-in offer. Nav and backup cameras seem to have become the items de jour during the past 3 years or so (I'm also old enough to remember when A/C was an extra cost option and folks who saved on the buy tried to fool their neighbors on a hot summer day) and are showing up on just about every vehicle listed over $30K now a days (many mid-$20K MSRP vehicles are getting pushed up to that $30K price point w/ tech packages). Whether they will be as "essential" to the late model used car buyer as A/C and AT in 3 or 4 years is anybody's guess, but following auto reviews and promotions indicates to me that the manufacturers think they are becoming high demand options. Just MHO. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't buy a +$30K entry level luxury car w/o tech unless I was sure I was keeping it 7 to 10 years. BTW, I live in metro-Denver, and while most families own one 4WD truck or AWD SUV here, cars with AWD don't seem to be that big a seller (exception being the Infinity I-35/37 AWD, which seem plentiful here). But, that's just based on observation, I haven't dug into regional sales data for all brands.
Looks like in metro-Denver the only posted offers are just the same financing offers (3.9% for 25 to 60 months) they've had for months now. Nothing exciting as many HELOCs can currently borrow at that rate or lower and itemize the interest paid. Of course, nothing is posted regarding the dealer incentive. Anyone know what the current dealer incentive is or do I have to pay CR for a report to find out?
