Decent lease deal in SCAL
by diye on Tue Apr 08 09:35:34 PDT 2008
I just helped a friend lease a base TL: Monthly Payment: $399 + tax Due at signing: $750 ( 1st month + tags ) MSRP: 34,440 Sale Price: 30,560 ( $150 below invoice, including the $1000 cash ) Term: 15k/yr, 36 months Residual: 54% Money Factor: 0.00101 Bank Fee of $595 is rolled into monthly payment. Total negociation time took 1 hour. We might be able to sqeeze anothe $300 if we tryed more dealers, but this is pretty decent already.

Base TL no Nav, and it's before TTL. It seems, we are paying more for it than folks down in Northern CA.

massimo1 - nice deal, it looks like that's the bottom price for dealerships in northern CA. I've got two dealerships willing to do that price. Now it's just a question of whether I want to pull the trigger and finding the right color combo.

Bought a 2008 black on black TSX, base, no NAV. $25880. Great internet buy through Stevens Creek Acura in Santa Clara, CA.

I've been going back and forth with some of the dealers in and around Sacramento, CA, and the best price I've been offered so far is $25,880 + fees for a non-NAVI TSX. Seems pretty competitive from what I've seen on here - any input? Stock seems hit and miss around here. Of the two closest dealers, one still has over 20 TSX's in stock, the other is down to 8, only 1 non-NAVI. Other dealers within 100 miles have anywhere from 2 to about 15. I'm not in a position where I really need to buy, so I'm hanging out a bit and waiting to see if there's any price shift that happens once the '09s are officially in showrooms - I think if I could get one for $25k with the 2.9% financing, I'd probably bite.

You worked a great deal. I myself purchased an Acura TL with Navi on Sunday May 4. I paid 31,950, 35,000 Tax, Title Registration out the door. I bought from Kearny Mesa Acura in San Diego, CA. I went through the internet and had quotes all within $50 of each other (4 local dealers). I also tried Costco much more expensive. I contacted Cars direct on the internet and was quoted 31,600. The problem with cars direct is you do not know where the car is coming from. All in all I felt like I worked a resonable deal and love the car.
