Hi, Can you tell me the dealership that you bought your Acura MDX? Is it a brand new 2009 model? Thanks.
Tech + Ent in Sacramento CA
by lodi12 on Fri Mar 20 16:38:27 PDT 2009
Just purchased Tech + Ent in city of Elk Grove CA for $40,500. That included dest. charge. Salesman was very straightforward, helpful, and wanted to beat anyone's price. I was happy with the deal and was the best I could find from Sacramento area to bay area.
09 TSXw/Tech Package
by TysonBunch on Wed Jan 07 08:41:40 PST 2009
Just bought our new baby this past weekend after looking at the lexus, bmw, nissan. Worked with a reputable dealer via the internet in the Sacramento region that gave no BS. I probably could have bargained for a better deal but had a trade in I wanted to get rid of. BTW, the dealer told me the price on the 09 TSX went up on January 1 by a couple of hundred dollars. 09 TSX/w Tech (White/Parchment) for Invoice - $30,424 Doc Fees - $55.00 CA state Tire Fee - $8.00 Tax - $2205.00 DMV - $285 Now I know it is not the best deal but it was no haggling and they had to ind the car at another dealer in SF as they did not have my choice. This also saved me from having them put on the Pro Package for ~300 as the parts they put on do not add up to that. The reason I went with this deal is that I had a 1999 Honda Accord with 175K miles on it and they gave me $2500 for it which was about 600.00 above the Mannheim auction price that they showed me. Also, received the 2.9/60 Months with no BS from the finance guy. All-in-all not the best deal but I am happy with the trade in aspect as other dealers offered 500/800 for the car. We were semi interested in the 8 year 120,000 mile warranty but for 2400.00 it did not seem worth it. I woudl assume we can pick up the warranty at a later time but not sure what others are paying for the extended warranty. BTW: The car rocks.
2008 TL price
by luv2cruse on Sat Dec 27 15:22:31 PST 2008
Hi, I have just purchased a 2008 TL base model for $27400. Out-the-door total $30,100 with 0.9% 36mos financing. The total interest for this car is only $420... almost free money. The car has 124 miles, but includes floor mats, trunk tray, and wheel locks. Is this a good price? I bought it from Elk Grove Acura in Sacramento, CA. It's white exterior, ebony interior. Thanks.
Re: In Market For New SUV [jstbghtmdx]

Thanks jstbghtmdx for this summary. Thanks everyone here for your message. I learnt the 0.9% financing on 2008 MDX (ends 12/1) and the price on the market from this thread. :) Jumped in for a Tech model for below $36,000 last Saturday. I started with the initial price from $35,500 at home (talking over the phone) as jstbghtmdx posted here. Dealer got back with a price between $35,500 and $36,000. Then I took it. I'm in the San Francisco bay area. There are not too many 2008 model left in south bay. But there are still some in the surrounding area as not far as to Sacramento area. -- I didn't go that far but e-mailed them. I do not post the specific dealer here. -- I think you may get a good deal from any dealer if they still have one in the lot. One more point: do not pay the destination charge. It's included already. Good luck and keep posting!
Re: Price on 08 TSX base [stanz4]

I've been going back and forth with some of the dealers in and around Sacramento, CA, and the best price I've been offered so far is $25,880 + fees for a non-NAVI TSX. Seems pretty competitive from what I've seen on here - any input? Stock seems hit and miss around here. Of the two closest dealers, one still has over 20 TSX's in stock, the other is down to 8, only 1 non-NAVI. Other dealers within 100 miles have anywhere from 2 to about 15. I'm not in a position where I really need to buy, so I'm hanging out a bit and waiting to see if there's any price shift that happens once the '09s are officially in showrooms - I think if I could get one for $25k with the 2.9% financing, I'd probably bite.
