Sierra Acura in Alhambra. I still haven't bought my Tl-S.I am trying to sell my Pathfinder first. Any suggestions let me know. I have done soo much research and haggling that this is the absolute best price at any dealership in So Ca. You are right, Cerritos is the worst, along with Riverside. They try to switch the numbers on you. There are alot of 07 Tl's left. Do not let them tell you otherwise. I am a woman and they really thought they could pull one over on me. I almost cussed the lady out at Riverside for insulting my intelligence. They quoted me $34k and told me that was a great price! You have to stand your ground and know that you will not settle for any other price. They will sell to you, especially the 07's. There were some dealerships that said no they cannot beat the price I was looking for and I respect that.
AZ road trip

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the information on this forum. Here's the deal I got: 05 Acura TL Auto/no Navi diamond white pearl w/parchment interior Wheel locks and Splash Guards Contacted Bell Acura, Tempe Acura, and Scottsdale Acura and they all gave the price of : $35,181 OTD without splash guards and wheel locks. With this forums help, I contacted southern California dealers and got the best deal at Keyes. Base Price: 30,000 Doc Fee: 45 (8.25% LA county Tax) 2478.71 Tire Fee 8.75 Total OTD 32532.46 One trip permit (CA to AZ) 15.00 Airline ticket from AZ to Burbank 109.20 Register in AZ ~ 600.00 Grand Total 33,256.66 Knowing I saved ~$1900 on the car Priceless Did everything through emails and faxes with Keyes. That was the easiest and fastest deal I've ever done with a car. Very impressed with Keyes and would do it again when I upgrade to an RL :) . Got the car with 4 miles and had a blast driving the car back to AZ. XM radio was great along with the demo DVD-A. I heard that I could have gotten the AZ tax rate if I got a third-party trucking company deliver the car to me, but I didn't want to get another person involved in the deal. But like I said it was a blast to drive the car back to AZ. Anyone have any data on getting the car delivered to you in AZ (i.e. cost, tax rate)? I sent the above information to the AZ dealers with suprisingly no response back :) . I also sent the above information to dealers in the Riverside area so I could fly into Ontario, CA and save some drive time. And, get a lower tax rate 7.75% for the OC. Again no response. Thanks for all the info. :)
Looking for a deal on a TSX in San Diego
by sdradioguy on Sat Aug 02 15:38:55 PDT 2003
I'm about 3-4 weeks from getting a TSX. The 325i had been the front-runner, until I drove a TSX this past Thursday. I fell in love with its shifter/clutch, and the much lower price tag. It does have a different (not better, yet not necessarily worse) feel than a BMW, but after driving a Civic for several years, I'm accustomed to the way Honda front-drivers typically handle. I'm also very accustomed to Honda reliability. And while I'm sure the BMW could be just as trouble-free, I'm not willing to take my chances right now. All reliability issues being equal, I know I'll spend quite a bit less on long-term maintenance with the Acura. I've tried to drive a 5sp. Accord sedan, just to see if I'm really justified in spending the extra few grand on the TSX. My impression from just sitting in the Accord (I can't find a manual one in SD) is that I'd be happier in the Acura. I'm going to start shopping around for price. If there's anyone out there in SD, Orange, or Riverside counties who've recently bought a TSX, and would care to share their experiences on what they paid, and which dealers to check out and which to avoid, I'm listening. By the way, I'm looking for a 6sp., without NAV -- silver/ebony or blue/ebony.
