Quote for 2008TL w/ Navi

I got an offer for 30,400 for a 2008 TL w/ Navi before TTL (including dest). What do you guys think about this deal? I saw that someone got one from the Torrance,CA dealership for 29,770, so I'm thinking of waiting a bit longer. Thanks for your help.

Hi! How much was your destination fee? I just got a base model -black/black from Power Acura in Torrance,CA for $36,883 with $250 gift card from Homedepot. It seems you got an even better deal. Did you get any accessories for your new MDX? There is a seller on ebay selling the OEM sport running board for $395 and the OEM tubes for around $450 (Shipping included.) I went with the sport running board. All weather mat ($90) and body side molding ($185)

Hi guys!! Time to pay back!! I just got my 2008 TL Type-S over the Saturday. It is in Cabron Bronze Pearl with Ebony interior. I requested more than 10 quotes from all the dealers in Los Angeles area (far from Torrance South Bay to Tustin OC. Most of the quote I got back were about the same price and only few hundreds dollars difference. The best quote I got was from Metro Acura in Montclair and their price was $32,995 sales price and $36,063.78 out the door price. The OTD price also included $500 gift certificate card that can be applied to service for parts/accessories purchases at Metro Acura. However, I didn't get my car from Metro Acura because of the location. I ended up getting my car at Sierra Acura in Alhambra. They match the same sales price as Metro Acura but they do not offer any gift certificate card. They ended up offer me discount on the body kit (front, side, and read under spoiler kit) at discount cost and also the color match mud guards and wheel locks. The Internet/Fleet sales manager was very professional and nice. He walked me through all the functions of the car and aslo helped me setup my phone to sync with the car while waiting for all the paper works from the financial manager. I drove off the car from the dealer in less than 3 hours. Listed below is the break down of the prices. Sales Price ........................... $32,995 Body Kit .................................$1,000 (included installation and normally cost $1500 for parts and labor) Final Sales Price ....................$33,995 Sales Tax @ 8.25% ............... $2,809.13 Documentation Fee .................$55 Registration ............................$284 CA Tire Fee ............................$8.75 Out The Door .........................$37,151.88 included (body kit, color match mud guards and wheel locks) Oh!! Also, the production date of my car was on Jan, 2008. =)

Purchased base TL $30,100 with 0.9%, 48 mos. financing. Price includes destination charge (does not include tax, lic, etc). Financing goes to 2.9% if 60 mos term. Dealer offered $28,900 if we got our own financing. PowerAcura in Torrance, CA. Fleet and Internet Department. They emailed the price and encouraged me to shop it around. Shopped it at two largest dealerships and they didn't counter No pressure from Finance guy to purchase add ons. Great experience.

Hey dimsumlo, I only have one quote back and that was from Power Acura South Bay in Torrance for a TL w/Navi. MSRP quoted was $36,940. Price quoted was $32,816. I do not know if this was with destination charge or not. I have 4 other quotes out to Orange County dealerships and I should have by tomorrow as they have all contacted me. The other dealership is in Cerritos. I will post prices tomorrow.

I did requested a quote from the Power South Bay Acura at Torrance and it was the highest price I received compared with 7 other dealers around the LA area. The quote they gave me was $35,637. I also went to the dealer last week to test drive the Type-S. I only saw few brand new TL and Type-S on their roof and the dealer was extremely small compared with other dealers I visited from the past. However, the sale representatives were very nice there.
