2009 Acura MDX Tech
by richiewho on Sat Apr 11 19:25:00 PDT 2009
Bought it today from Power Acura in Torrance, CA. Paid $39,184 including destination but without tax/title/doc,etc. The sales tax in Southern CA is killer! Got the 3.9% financing and used my $1000 coupon from AHFC, which is applied on the down payment line. Overall I think I got a great deal and the service was great as well.
Re: TSX 48 Month lease offer [paulhrich]

You need to find out what the capitalized cost and money factor are. I made a mistake on my post. My payment is $387 including 8.375% New York Sate sales tax. Figuring the difference in our tax rates, my payment is actually lower than yours, and I put no money down (cap cost reduction). Also, mine is a 36 month lease, which would generally have a pmt of 10-20% higher than a 48 month. If your cap cost is more than $1000 over invoice, you need to renegotiate.

2007 RDX Non-Tech Price

2006 MDX Touring in South Florida?
by evision on Fri Jun 09 09:47:30 PDT 2006
Anyone know of any dealers that can get me a low price on an Acura MDX Touring? I've gone thru posts and all seem to be in TN, CA, NY, NJ, WA, VA... anyone know of any down this way towards the West Palm Beach area?? Dealers nearby don't seem to want to go below $38k, but I've seen posts for others around the nation who got it for $34k-$37k... I'm looking to lease, so that may determine if I get $1326 below invoice or $2326 below invoice since there's the dealer holdback of $1326 and dealer incentive of $1000 if financed and not leased (but I think that $1000 expired on May 31st anyways). Since Invoice is $36,002 nowadays, then minus the $1326 holdback, that gives me a starting point of $34,676 if they don't make anything... They offered me the MDX Base model for $34k ($37k sticker)leased with 2k down for 36 mos at $399/mo or $425/mo including tax. But I want the Touring and they say it's 40k and they'd give it to me for 38k and that's what most posters here got the Touring WITH Nav/Res for... I'm trying to ge my lease payments below $400/mo... Anybody? I need a dealer in South Florida.
Re: My Experience - Stay Away from Power Acura - Torrance, CA [wthiwwt]
by justalaguy on Sat Jun 03 15:52:00 PDT 2006
Congrats on the new car. Power is also closer to me and I have talked with them in the past and also Santa Monica. I did not buy at the latest special financing as I believe it was 5.99% for 60 months, when it was 4.9% in April. Hopefully, the lower rates will come back toward the end of the model year. Curious as to what your final out the door price was and what percentage financing did you get? Color? Interior? From my experience, Santa Monica always seems to be the lowest, although I may end up buying at Power, since they are closer. Thanks for the lessons learned with your buying experience.
