Re: 2008 TSX 6 Speed Manual, Northern NJ [mstylady]: by cdnpinhead on Wed Apr 02 08:46:45 PDT 2008; That's a few hundred less than I paid, but my car was a dealer trade from Denver to Phoenix, so I didn't get as good a deal as I would have if the car was sitting on dealer's lot. Be sure to figure in the doc fee as additional dealer profit because that's all it is -- $369 in my case. I've got ~1000 miles on my manual no-nav TSX, and couldn't be happier. It gets ~32 mpg on my mostly-freeway drive to work and got about 33.5 on a drive down to Tucson & back last weekend. That should improve even more as the engine breaks in. Enjoy.

Acura TL Type S w/auto: by dap2006 on Thu Mar 06 02:37:30 PST 2008; I just made a deal with Acura North Scottsdale for a Carbon Bronze w/ Taupe TL-S - by far the best color combo, I believe. I shopped all the Phoenix area dealers and Chapman in Tucson. (I'll never deal with Chapman again - apparently being the only Tucson Acura dealer they feel they have a captive audience, though Pheonix is only an hour and a half away!) I'm very happy with the deal: 36 months / 10K MF: .00101 Residual: .55% $34.1K + $750 accessory package (approx.) $0 down (just tax, license, etc - normal charges) $517 per mo including 8.1% tax Super internet manager - straight forward, no BS, no game-playing - highly recommended. To anyone in Tucson, look a little North for a more pleasant shopping experience. :)

2006 w/ nav purchased: by dap2006 on Mon Sep 26 19:39:19 PDT 2005; I've been following these Acura boards for some time picking up tips so I thought it was time for me to weigh in. I just ordered an '06 w/ nav, desert mist w/ parchment, for $1500 off MSRP and %15 off all installed accessories - I'm getting the rear wing spoiler, body side molding, splash guards, and trunk tray. My salesman said my car is due in the first week of Oct (Arizona). Thanks for all the info - I can't wait to get it!

buying a 2005 TL w/o nav in NM: by sycofant on Thu Aug 18 12:00:50 PDT 2005; There is only one dealer here in NM, so I've emailed the internet sales people in Tucson AZ and he says I am subject to the AZ sales tax. Is this true? His quote seems ok, but he wants to chard a $350 doc transfer fee to get the car to NM so this raises the price. Any comments or suggestions?

price paid in arizona: by joepham on Tue Jul 05 02:07:23 PDT 2005; hey guys, i recently got a new job out in Tuscon Az, and i'm in the market to buy a new 2005 tl, im just wondering if you guys can pitch in some advice on where i should purchase and if there is any advantages of purchasing in each state, im currently residing in so cal right now and will be leaving sometime early august. Im hoping that you guys can shed some light as to how much yoru car was in AZ or in CA. I called the dealer in Tucson and he said 33900 for a TL w/ navi. Not sure if it's high or not. I would also like to get quotes for cars with navi and automatic, thanks. Joe
