Noise on starting cold engine

I have a 2001 Daewoo Leganza. When starting the engine while cold, there is a loud vibrating noise. If I rev the engine, the noise stops. I can turn off the engine, turn it back on, and the noise is not there. I can drive the car around, turn engine off and on, the noise is not there. Auto tranny "power" mode

I have a 2001 Leganza w the auto tranny with the power switch on the shifter. The PWR idiot light comes on and goes out as a bulb check when starting the car, so I know the light is working. The problem seems to me, to be that the tranny is not shifting into it's highest gear, it feels like it is stuck at 3rd gear when cruising, and also, if I press the shifter button to put ... Probably already figured it out but your a.c. drainage valve gets clogged and backs up runs under the thick foam under your carpet on your passenger side. Can cause the wires to corrode and cause instrument cluster and ignition problems. If you cut the rubber drain hose about an inch up that should let it drain properly. i am having the same problem with my 2002 daewoo laganza. I brought it to aamco hooked it up to there comp and it said i need my trany fixed and the only way to do that is to drop the whole trany . i walked out cause i was afraid that wouldcost me$$$$. was the prob theEGR valve gasket? or any other ideas or how much woul dit be to do the trann work? i only have 53,000 miles on it ... GM never was the source of dealer warranty reimbursement.A separate entity was set up to handle warranty work at the time GM purchased DAEWOO.GM funded this entity as part of the purchase agreement.I know that there was a SUZUKI dealership in Spartanburg SC who honored these warranties.I'm not sure want the time limit was.I would check with JOE GIBSON Suzuki ... my 2001 leganza has a button on the console that locks the trans in that gear. This button prevents the trans from shifting out of the gear it was in when the button was pushed. Can you shift the trans manualy? Read More...

Hey, I couldn't find those plugs either, but I did find some plugs on ebay that say they are compatable with the daewoo leganza (years 99-02).
