We purchased a T&C in October of 2007 and have nothing but problems with it. From the third row seating not stowing, to them locking up, to the radio not working, replacing a catalytic converter, the A/C not cooling and the super sensitive power doors and now having to replace brakes AND rotors with only 17,000 miles on it. True, but I said profits, not payrolls and many Canadians do come across to spend their money. Especially right now with the strong CDN$. I agree Toyota and Honda USA have a great economic impact on the geographical areas where they build their plants, but I would venture that Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Subaru combined don't exceed the US payroll of just Chrysler, ... I purchased a 2007 town and Country and I had the same problem the day after we picked up the car from the dealer. My husband was driving the car and it shut down while he was waiting at a red light and my child was in the car. I just purchased a 2008 T & C Limited van in late November. I don't have the third row power seat so I can't comment on that issue. We filled up the van with 60 miles on the odometer and drove about 150 miles not exceeding 60 mph. As you know, this van has the 4.0 engine. We got 23.5 mpg. Tom 166. I have a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country van (similar to your Dodge van). Had software updated, low gear replaced, etc. Rides a little bit better but problem still there.
