I have a 2006 T&C as well. At 39,000 mi. (and 3,000 since last oil change), oil indicator light came on, but time to get oil changed anyway. They only drained 3 qts! Checked oil at 40,500 and looks about a qt low - at min line and was at max after oil change. Going to add a qt now, with next oil change at 42k. I bought a new Town & Country in 2005. I took it back to the dealership after the first few days, telling them there was something wrong with the brakes. I have a 2006 Chrysler T&C and since last December have been adding about 1 quart every 4,000 miles. My dealership said this is normal and did not see any evidence of oil leaks or blue smoke from oil burning in the engine. For now, I check the oil every month and keep a couple quarts in the garage. Hi all - I've got a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country Touring with about 53,000 mi. on it. Last week the oil light started coming on - nearly at 3months/3000 miles on the nose. Today took it in to have oil changed - repair shop says there was no oil on the dipstick and they only drained about 1 qt. There are no obvious leaks and no signs (smoke, etc.) of consumption. jboison : which dealership offered you 24.2K for 25th Anniversary T & C in NYC? I was reading some news articles and they were saying Chrysler has increased Dealer Cash, I am not sure anyone except dealers would know that number, which will allow dealers to make sale. I personally always found Haynes to be the better of the 2 manuals. On the 3.3 and 3.8 the sensor is locate to the lower left side of the thermostat housing. On a 3.0 it is in the distributor. Read More...

1. The camshaft sensor is located on the front side of the engine, probably on the top, and senses the location of the camshaft by way of magnets mounted on one of the camshaft pulleys. I'm a veteran of these forums myself but helped my parents today. By way of background, I personally own a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L purchased in 11/07 for $25294 (new). Our van has close to 20k on it now and we're happy with it. I just recently bought a 2006 Chrysler T&C that has the 6 disc CD/DVD player without the optional rear screen. Can someone point me to where I may be able to find the rear screen & cables that will connect from player to screen. Also I understand there is a wireless headphone option too.
