Does anyone have a 2005 or 2006 Town and Country Short Wheel Base (or Dodge Caravan SWB) that has tight power steering? We bought our 2006 new and only have 6,000 miles on it and have taken it in for warranty twice for the power steering -or lack of. No whines or noise, just extremely difficult to turn. I have a 2006 T&C as well. At 39,000 mi. (and 3,000 since last oil change), oil indicator light came on, but time to get oil changed anyway. They only drained 3 qts! Checked oil at 40,500 and looks about a qt low - at min line and was at max after oil change. Going to add a qt now, with next oil change at 42k. I bought a new Town & Country in 2005. I took it back to the dealership after the first few days, telling them there was something wrong with the brakes. I was told it was just brake dust because they were new. I had to have brake pads, calipers, and rotors before 6000 miles. This happened again before 11000 miles and again at 15000. I have a 2006 Chrysler T&C and since last December have been adding about 1 quart every 4,000 miles. My dealership said this is normal and did not see any evidence of oil leaks or blue smoke from oil burning in the engine. For now, I check the oil every month and keep a couple quarts in the garage. Hi all - I've got a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country Touring with about 53,000 mi. on it. Last week the oil light started coming on - nearly at 3months/3000 miles on the nose. Today took it in to have oil changed - repair shop says there was no oil on the dipstick and they only drained about 1 qt. There are no obvious leaks and no signs (smoke, etc.) of consumption. I was reading some news articles and they were saying Chrysler has increased Dealer Cash, I am not sure anyone except dealers would know that number, which will allow dealers to make sale. I personally always found Haynes to be the better of the 2 manuals. On the 3.3 and 3.8 the sensor is locate to the lower left side of the thermostat housing. On a 3.0 it is in the distributor. Read More...

1. The camshaft sensor is located on the front side of the engine, probably on the top, and senses the location of the camshaft by way of magnets mounted on one of the camshaft pulleys.
