Review
Have had it 11 months. Had to switch dealership for bad service. Rattles, and bad brakes. Put discs in rear or make front disc larger. Very poor gas mileage. 15 city and 21 hwy. Traded in Ford expedition for better mileage and didn't get much better.

Put some real brakes in the base model. This is a safety issue and most people wouldnt mind spending a few extra dollars for better brakes. improve the gas mileage. Every article I read had the t&c in last place.

Review
Love my Chrysler T&C. Replaced a Dodge Caravan and they just keep getting better. Particuarly pleased with the 22 MPG overall and 26 MPG on the highway. Also love the Stow & Go seating which my Dodge didn't have. No complaints and no problems. Great car!

We have had our T&C for 6 months now and would not trade it for anything. The stow and go seats make it flexible for hauling just about anything. We have take a couple long trips with the kids and the 12v ports make for a great DVD experience. The dealership added a lifetime warranty on the drive train. The only problem we've had was when a sparkplug went bad. Dealership diagnosed and fixed it in less than two hours.
Favorite Features
Stow and go seats AM/FM CD Cass Easy to drive, extremely comfortable
Suggested Improvements
Put in better bins between the seats.

I have owned Lexus, Escalade, Expediton, trying to find the perfect vehicle for my young family. This is by far the best! I could afford any vehicle I wanted, but this is the only one I would own.

It could have more take off power. I thought with the 3.8 it would perform better

We have bought two chrysler minivans. We've had bad luck with them. They are always in the shop for something. I just took it in for a gas sensor that hopfully will be recalled soon so Moms don't get stuck on the side of the road with little kids freezing in the car. Bad shocks, frozen batteries, bad brakes, plus... Keep checking to make sure you have fuel in the car don't rely on the gauge
Favorite Features
We love the stow and go. The navigation system is great for traveling. The kids love the DVD player, it's great for long distant trips.Love the style.
Suggested Improvements
Move stereo or drink cup holders away from each other.Try to get plastic parts to stay on better. Better brake system....it's been awhile.Rmovable drink holders so they can be washed inside.

My lemon
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country Limited 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This vehicle, since July 2004, has only been driven 13K miles. In that time I've had have the following repaired/replaced: air conditioning condenser, front heater fan, passenger and driver sliding doors, rear park assist, stereo wireless output. Unbelieveable. My first, and last, Chrysler.
Favorite Features
Navigation system, DVD player.
Suggested Improvements
Not sure if it's substandard parts, design, or assembly, but overall reliability is horrible.

Follow-up for previous review 1-6-06. Local Dealer has been very helpful. Door lock issue appears to be fixed (5 tries). Replacement part not issue - this TC had early version of body control computer module (late 2004). Chrysler has issued a service bulletin about this to dealers. Apparently a error in computer programing that results in false random error codes. When error code happens, related system is shut down by computer. Last trip in to dealer 2 days ago, they re- programmed the computer using corrected software. Still no cost even though car was out of warranty miles. Also found that tires were underinflated.. have improved gas mileage by 2-3mpg now. Kudos to my local dealer.

T&C Touring
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Our T&C Touring recently went on a road trip to Iowa. No problems at all. I have a knee replacement, and the car was no problem at all to drive. No lower back pain as the lumbar support is excellent. The rough Iowa roads were no match for the suspension, and we were able to cruise on the Interstates at the speed limit with no problem. All the little touches (radio controls on steering wheel, bins galore, stow and go seats) make this vehicle an excellent purchase. We did upgrade the OEM tires to a better grade (with a better warranty). The T&C is one of the best minivans on the road, hands down. Don't let anyone fool you...go drive one and you'll buy it. BTW, sound sys is great!

Outstanding Van
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country Limited 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Have owned our T&C Limited since May 2005. Have driven it locally and a couple of long road trips. The inside design and features are exceptional. Stow n Go has been very useful. I'm 6'2" 220 lbs. and have plenty of room in both first and second rows. Seats are very comfortable and great back support. Acceleration is adequate, but could be better. Driver visibility excellent. Handling excellent. Ride is smooth and quiet - luxurious even. Am averaging 17-18 mpg in city and 23-24 mpg highway. Nav system and stereo are great. Couple of quality problems - Nav system delivered with no antenna, a window alignment, alternator replaced. All handled by dealership promptly.
Favorite Features
Stow and Go. Nav system. Video system. Seats. Roomy. Quiet ride. Turning radius. Power side doors and tail gate.
Suggested Improvements
Better acceleration. A couple of extra mpg.
