Love this van
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I had traded in my 2000 Ford Windstar for this T&C. Love this van so much better. Had a lot of little problems with the automatic doors in the Ford and when they didn't work were very heavy to shut. I love that the seats fold away and we actually use this van to go to Home Depot more that we use our truck. I've had the 2005 T&C for over a year and have never had any problems with it yet. I will definatly buy another T&C when we need one. Best yet, we purchased this van for cheaper than the competitors and we love it.
Favorite Features
Fold away seats, DVD player, Automatic doors and hatch. Storage under the passenger seat. Storage under the floor when the seats are second row seats are upright.

Unbeatable convenience & flexibility
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
The new "stow & go" seating is the best invention since the wheel. This creates flexible seating arrangements allowing maximum storage and passenger capacity. The 3 zone climate control quickly balances temperature even on the hottest days. The overhead storage is convenient both front and back and the sound system with in dash 6 disc player is very impressive with steering wheel controls couldn't be more ergonomically perfect. The "back- up sensor" system is a very nice additional feature as are the power side doors and rear liftgate. The added convenience of 3 overhead remote control buttons gives this vehicle great flexibility. The town & country couldn't be a more perfect automobile
Favorite Features
Stow & go seating, power side doors and rear liftgate, amazing sound system with in dash 6 disc cd changer, back-up sensor system and 3 overhead console remote controls.
Suggested Improvements
None. This vehicle is perfect in every way.

Rear bucket seats are extremely uncomfortable for adults and very hard to get out of. The third row seating is ridiculous! Stow and Go should be an option. Give me back my old second row seats with the option of Stow and go seating. I would much rather have comfortable bucket seats back for the second row for adults as an option.
Favorite Features
Outside design.
Suggested Improvements
Second and third row seating! They might be OK for kids, but horrible for adults. How about windows going down on the back doors like in the Toyota Sienna?

A Lemon OR remanufactured van
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Town and Country 4dr Minivan (3.3L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Since New in Jan. 2005, muffler replaced due to glass pack sounds, transmission replaced at 1,500 miles due to unsolved gear noise and whine, was a tsb done on this one also, didnt fix issue, and multiple bad paint spots on car doors, hood, etc., going to fix these also, could not lock van, rolling locks issue, makes one wonder if purchasing a new car is fun anymore, might as well go buy used and have less issues, most disappointing new car purchase ever made, tranny wasn't replaced until i said i wanted a new van, was in dealer garage for over 2 weeks to remanufacture, no pun intended
Favorite Features
Stow and Go seats, had a 99 dodge van and was an absolute pain to remove seats and put back in, almost a two man job, a very smooth, comfortable and quiet ride, NOW that is is remanfactured after delivery the way it should have been done at factory
Suggested Improvements
Build vans that please customers after purchase, not put them in garage for almost a month after purchase, no reason for such absolute shoddy build quality, it is a lot of van for the money, or maybe should i say i only received what i paid for, wake up chrysler if u wish to get repeat sales

2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This van is solidly built. Not a rattle or air noise. So far, everything has worked perfectly. It has very good a/c and I need it in Arizona's 110 plus summers. The radio works well and has a good sound to it. The side doors work easy no matter if I shut them by hand instead of using the motor.
Favorite Features
I love the stow-n-go seats. I like the radio controls on the steering wheel.
Suggested Improvements
The inside needs some color and some chrome. Also the gages are to plain. Inside also looks too vanilla,(plain). Navigation screen way to small.
Great little car, so far

Only 5,000 miles so far, but it is the first vehicle I've ever owned that I haven't had a single gripe out of the first month. Fuel mileage averages better than 20. Quiet as a mouse and handles exceptionally well for a mini-van. I have a friend with an Oddesy and they have had quite alot of trouble out of it. I'll keep my little town and country, thank you. First MOPAR I've had in a while. Based on this one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
Favorite Features
Fuel mileage, handeling, comfort, I even like the styling, inside and out. Dealership has been very good, so far.
Suggested Improvements
Can't really think of any yet.

From a 99 Windstar to the 05 T&C Touring. Have had it now for 3 months and we are extremely pleased. The Stow & Go seats are wonderful. We had to take the seats out of the Windstar several times and they are so heavy. This is easily done now. Our Chrysler dealership is a 5 star and they were wonderful. Highway gas mileage for us has been 22, city, 16 or higher. Most of this depends on how the vehicle is driven. We love the power hatch and doors. The Infinity speakers sound great. Wish the second row windows would open. Love parking assist, DVD, and leather seats. I recommend buying the slush mats at least for the front and middle row, which are easier to clean. A luxury minivan!
Favorite Features
Stow N' Go seats, Parking assist, power hatch and middle row doors, love the deep trunk area, rides smoothly, sharp looking, DVD & CD changer, Infinity speakers.
Suggested Improvements
Cruise & other buttons should be lit at night, move cup holders away from CD/DVD disc entrance.
Happy so far with Signature Touring T&C

2005 Chrysler Town and Country Signature Series 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
With Chrysler offering $2500 rebate/and 0.0% interest I purchased a new Signature series for about $7000.00 less than a Toyota or Honda equally equipped. I presently own a 97 Intrepid w/95000 miles and a 2000 Dodge Ram with 95000 miles. My experience is that Chrysler/Dodge products have been very reliable, cost effective. The product for the price is very appealing. The built quality on the Van is very good , I havent found one defect or rattle. We have almost 3800 miles on it. My a only disappointment is the fuel mileage. So far 13.8 City and 22.8 Highway. Test claims were 18 city and 28 highway.
Favorite Features
DVD system/Navigation system/ST0 & Go/Heated front seats.
Suggested Improvements
Standard side air curtains and adjustable foot pedals. Larger depth on bucket seats of at least 1". Measured current vehicles seats a little small.
Great Improvement over 2003

Review
After owning a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport I think my 2005 T&C touring van is outstanding. The stow away seats the power doors and hatch make my life alot easier. In order to get down the hatch door of the Dodge was quite a chore for me and my wife but the powered doors are a blessing. I took the seats out of the Dodge a week after I purchased it and they stayed out until I traded it in. My hobby is building rather large radio controlled model airplanes and I needed the space to carry them. I could not use the van for taking passengers, since putting the seats back is really a chore, they weighed a ton!!! I rate my T&C at a respectable 9.5.
Favorite Features
all the seats stow in the floor with very little effort. Power assist side and rear hatch.
Suggested Improvements
Maybe a 5 speed auto transmission would help improve the mileage
