We brought the T&C as our first van. I was impressed with how well the van drives compared to most cars I have owned. Unlike some vans, you can still drive it like a drivers car. It corners well, has excellent power and wonderful full throttle acceleration. The seats are very comfortable, if a bit on the hard side. I would recommend getting the heated seats. The sunroof is a very nice touch and you might not even feel like you are driving a van. The 6 disk CD changer is good for long trips. I would not get the DVD if you have a laptop, you can buy a $30 inverter at target that lets you use it in the car and saves you a grand. The only minus is bad mileage. It needs a fourth gear.
Favorite Features
Power doors, stow n' go seating, sunroof, feels like you are driving a decent european car, not a minivan.
Suggested Improvements
Fuel economy downright stinks when you are driving short trips, or stop and go driving like shopping. We have gotten as low as 11 mpg in cold weather on short trips. Highest highway has been 21 (at 75 mph).

Excellent minivan! We had a Ford Winstar for about five years before we purchased this Chrysler Town and Country Touring minivan -- the difference between the vans was like night and day.
Favorite Features
Comfort - quiet drive - Stow & Go seating - just about everything.
Suggested Improvements
Gas milage.

While this vehicle is attractive and has all the bells and whistles I am going with a Toyota or Honda next year. This van has no grab handles for the front passengers and other little conveniences the foreign cars have. The best feature is the Navigation Systen. Easy and fun to use. For the price the Honda offers much more as does the Toyota. The T&C does not hold its value. Factory tires are bummers.
Favorite Features
Navigation System and fold down seats.
Suggested Improvements
Grab handles for all entries.

I purchased a rental unit with 16,700 miles on it at a bargain price and received a most pleasant surprise with the styling and performance. The one drawback has to do with the comfort for a large person at 6'4" and 280 lbs. as the seats don't fit my size too well. I would recomment this vehicle to any consumer.
Favorite Features
Styling and performance.
Suggested Improvements
More comfortable seating.

Bought the T&C in 12/04 as husband is 6'7" and the Odyssey and Sienna did not fit him. Have 5000 miles on it. The ergonomics of the front dash, radio, dvd, a/c, etc. are terrible. The knobs/buttons are small and the workings of the radio are not intuitive at all. A/C worked very well during this recent heat wave. Have had the right motor replaced on sliding door and closing mechanism on left sliding door replaced under warranty. Like the room. Can pack a ton of stuff in it. Stow and Go very easy to use. Ride is nice. Could be more quiet, like the Odessey.
Favorite Features
Room, ride, being able to open sliding doors and trunk remotely. Very handy with two little children. Also feels luxurious.
Suggested Improvements
Ergonomics. Chrysler needs to learn from Toyota and Honda. Gas Mileage! Quietness.

This car is very quiet, and easy to drive. Mileage is 18 in town, to 26 on the road with A/C on. Panel fit is very good. The pebble leather seats do not help you slide out like the slick seats of older models. It does help hold you in place when driving. The fold down rear seating is really great. Easy to use, and quick to change. If you use a van for many tasks, I recommend the Stow'N/Go feature.
Favorite Features
Stow'N/Go seating, cell phone uconnect. With the laws changing for cell phone use while driving this feature is easy to use.
Suggested Improvements
Keep the hand holds in the front and rear areas, a help for older people to get in and out.

We bought our T&C used, but you could not tell it other than the odometer. Stow n Go is great. A/C stands up under South Carolina summer heat of 95 and humidy of 95%, and the three zone control is wonderful. The keyless entry system works perfectly. It has saved me many awkward moments. Fit and finish are superb...as good as many high-priced foreign models.
Favorite Features
Stow N Go, Keyless entry, Handling and acceleration, visibility from driver's seat
Suggested Improvements
I don't think I would change a thing.

First it looked good, next day after purchasing this 2005 Chrysler Town and Country realized the drivers side door was off, under dash was very loose & with one touch fell off, all panels on the inside of van were very loose and looked like someone just tried to piece it together. They did adjust front door but said the inside panels were fine. NOT! & it took them 7 days to fix door when I got the vehicle back it sounded like the engine was going to fall & hit the ground when I accelerated, when I did start it up it sounded like the putter mobile. still under 2500 miles It died twice they said the fuel pump and bcm chip needs to be replaced now. Needless to say I took a loss & traded it in!
Favorite Features
I traded it in ASAP. I bought a Honda Odyssey EX L:)I paid $28800:) I shopped toyota sienna but it would have cost me about $40,000 to to get same options compared to the HONDA ODYSSEY EXL!?? Pay Xtra for heated seats (optional on toyota) what is leather seats with out heat? Xtra for Side air bags,

1 power sliding door, 1 disc cd player, (Honda had 6 disc) Plus when looking at it you could see the instal- lation under front end it was cheeeessssy for the price. I bought 13 vehicles from toyota ranging from tercel to the 4runner sport v8. Seems to me Toyota quality down/PRICEup?! HONDA GIRL NOW!

I've had five town and countrys. With each change they have improved the vehicle. I love the stow and go seats. The flexibility makes it the best choice in my opinion. I also love the automatic lift gate and find it very useful when it rains. I test drove both the Sienna and Odyssey before I bought this one, and really felt the Chrysler had more power. I also felt the overall quality better long term with Chrysler. I drove in a friends Odyssey that was four years old and it rattled like a frieght train. None of the town and countrys I had did that.
Favorite Features
Stow and Go Seats, Radio system, Bluetooth phone system, Power lift gate.
Suggested Improvements
Have the passenger seat fully automatic. It does not go up or down, just forward and backwards. Would like to see more colors and interiors more exciting
